I dont believe it, I got Hallassan as winner in the Bonus race
and I managed to move in First Conquest in place of my injured horse.
Hallsan was in my stable anyway, so still weeeeeel behind, but it’s
not quite as embarrasing
Points 1390
Position 753
Swaps left 5January 31, 2025 at 20:37 #1719275Well done BigG. I thought about drafting First Conquest in but decided to wait for a grade 1 or 2 (which will doubtless result in no points at all. Greed is what it is!). Nothing in the bonus race either. I have been one place off every one of them for 3 weeks!
January 31, 2025 at 22:58 #1719294I got my 4 x timer accumulator off today Graham with Paddy Power
so happy about that and it was all thanks to Hallasan as I put the 2 Godolphin horses in the last leg.
So glad you got Hallasan in the Bonus race and still on 5 swaps.
I did him too and also had First Conquest who was already in my stable. I swapped in Romantic Style today for the ill fated Measured Time and she won..it was a good day compared to last week, without using a swap and with 750 points earned. Now on….
Points- 2820
Position – 150
4 Swaps leftSorry you missed First Conquest Catherine but a Group 1 is always worth the wait and lots of them still to come.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 1, 2025 at 01:00 #1719304Thanks Catherine, and I know the feeling, I was 1 off with my other 3
but at least I got one right which is a red letter day for me.
Jac that’s a terrific accum and a perfect end to it with a 100/30 winner
in Hallasan
Great day on the competition with 750 without having to use a swap. I’m
going to have to have a cracking day with my extra Swap to get anywhere
near the pack. I’ll just keep trying.February 1, 2025 at 09:28 #1719323************************************

Love to see the bookie bashing! In Godolphin, I got the first two in the wrong order in the bonus race
I missed the opportunity to swap out Measured Time. I’m currently on 2,380 pts & 257th (with 3 swaps left).I missed the start of the Dublin Racing Festival comp – but threw a few in for the later races. I’ll need a HUGE day tomorrow, I’m sure.
Take Care and Good Luck with bets and comp selections.

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 6, 2025 at 11:34 #1719876Not a great card again but a few could well be interested in. Jac what do you make of New London going on the dirt and dropping back down to 10F
Also Kalidasa back down to nine after that effort over further on his latest start, will he be able to pop out in front again over this shorter trip(also has stall 1) Not sure at the moment but will go through a few more runners in that race. Nice to hear yours and others thoughts
February 6, 2025 at 18:15 #1719885Interesting card Nick…I’m taking a look after dinner.
Back soon with a view on New London.
No Bonus Race and the 5.35 would be perfect with 3 Godolphin runners…what’s going on
I only have 1 runner in my Stable tomorrow Symbol Of Honour..doesn’t look like a day to use a swap.
Looking forward to tomorrow as been stuck indoors last couple of weeks with trapped nerve lower back..ouch
Having my second acupunture session tomorrow and physio on Tuesday..
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 6, 2025 at 19:23 #1719888Symbol Of Honour wins with his ass in the distance, priced accordingly to do so. Doubled up with Arabian Light 350 who had a troubled run latter stages last time, hopefully just about gets the job done.
The 535 does look the most interesting race on the card, the two main Go dolphins! in the market could be a cut above the rest stepping up to 12f. Difficult to split them though, Buick sides with El Cordobes so naturally goes fav but how many times have we seen the 2nd string prevail? plenty.
Had a lovely free bet waiting in my account so placed it on Thundering instead who steps up in grade but won in a good time latest and proven at the trip, 9/1. Enjoy.February 6, 2025 at 21:00 #1719897Good luck chivers
February 6, 2025 at 21:08 #1719899Congratulations are in order Jac !!
I’ve just seen your four timer well done!!! 👍
February 6, 2025 at 21:46 #1719902Thanks Sam
I’m hoping lightning will strike twice and I can do it again tomorrow..lol 🤣🥂 Hope being the operative word.. :
Back later with those bets.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 6, 2025 at 21:57 #1719903Decided just to back the two Osborne horses (Ouzo and Sean)each way in the 3.50, hoping plenty of pace on for these two hold up performers to aim at
Look forward to your thought on the Godolphin pair i mentioned , Jac
February 6, 2025 at 22:10 #1719905Nick..
Been doing my homework on New London tonight and he certainly is versatile on any ground and over a variety of distances ranging from 1m2f to 1m6f.
I studied his action as best I could in a couple of his races and would say that he could be suited to a dirt track as he has a nice action, certainly not a ‘daisy cutter’ but with good speed and a not too rounded.
He came back to Meydan at the beginning of January having not run since last May and turned in a fair run in a race where the 3rd horse Keffaf went on to win a Group 3 at Meydan over the distance next time out..therefore I think he can also improve for that run.He is all class by Dubawi and has put up good performances at Group 3 level, his best though was running 2nd to Eldar Eldarov in the St Leger two years ago.
Definitely a Group horse in a Handicap and if he takes to the dirt track he’s a good bet at 4/1. They must have an idea he can do it, even back at 1m2f, otherwise why is he here❓
Best of luck Nick …I’m on
