    Thanks Jac,
I’m hoping it will be better and back to normal quicker this time as unlike before I’ve rested it and looking after it rather than trying to walk it off to start with… :rose:
Don’t think Ian will want my foot as his avatar now as I have disappointed him this morning in the lounge
    my bad.. :-(

Nathan sorry to hear about your latest accident. This is the problem with
any tablets you are prescibed, there is always some side affect.

Hope you recover quickly and are fit and well to take advantage of any easing
in the latest lockdown, when it does arrive.

Main thing is keep on finding those winners.

BigG I have to say I agree with you about seeing any horse badly injured it does
leave a nasty taste and takes the gloss off the day. Seems to happening on a more
    regular basis.

Agree. I was looking forward to yesterday’s racing but it was ruined, firstly by the loss of Severano, who had taken my eye beforehand as he looked so well, then poor L’Ami (didn’t find out about Yalltari till later). Not sure if I can bear to watch today (though I probably will).

Sorry about your toe Nathan. They can rarely do anything about broken toes, unless it’s sticking out at an angle, so just a question of keeping the weight off as much as possible and taking it easy.

I was impressed with Mishriff yesterday. Should be an exciting season for him.

Agreed Tonge…feel really sad today..I’m going to tape it and maybe watch later. I know we also lose horses on the flat but rarely 3 in one day it’s heartbreaking.

I really hope that in view of their sad loss Munir & Souede might reconsider their decision to run Bristol De Mai in the Grand National. He’s never going to stay the distance and getting tired will see him make mistakes. He’s been such a good servant to them can’t believe they would want to risk him..hope they see sense he’s 10 years old now and if he were mine I would want to see him live a happy retirement.

Mishriff could go for the Dubai World Cup..he certainly impressed yesterday.
    :good:

Sorry to hear about your toe Nathan. I’m sure it hurts like hell! Hopefully it will heal quickly.

Jac/Tonge – It’s so very sad to lose three horses in one day. I always feel especially bad for the stable lads or gals that look after them so well each and every day. It’s heart breaking. BDM has got no business running at Aintree. Hopefully someone will talk some sense into connections.

Mishriff was very impressive yesterday. I was happy that Egan was back on board. What a ride and to think he’s only 21! I vaguely remember being 21 – and there’s no way I was mature enough to do anything close to that!

    Stay Safe Everyone!!

Early Meydan Thursday Decs for 25th February.

This could be our trickiest week ever with 27 Godolphin horses entered (some twice) in just 5 out of the 6 races.
Sadly for Fantasy League players not one Godolphin entry in the last race which is a Group 1.

Good luck sorting out your favourites.

Two bets today at Wolverhampton, one notebook horse the Richard Hannon trained HOST ridden once more by Thor Hammer Hansen. Heart in mouth ride last time to win coming from last to first and the other a well placed filly trained by John Gosden set to gain her first victory… :good:

    5.40 Wolverhampton

    UNDER WRAPS .. 3/1 (ENHANCED) .. WIN
Beautifuly bred by Kingman/Confidential Lady (Singspiel) John Gosden and Richard Havlin team up to find a race for this filly.
Well beaten in all her 3 starts to date she ran 3rd to Invincible Swagger last time out who ran a very good race on Saturday to be 2nd to the very talented Godolphin horse Silent Film.

A shrewd drop in distance and class should see her being led into the winners enclosure today.

    7.10 Wolverhampton

HOST .. Evens (Best Price) .. WIN

Host by Mehmas was so impressive last time out I’m wondering if he might have a tilt at The Lincoln 2022.
Thore Hammer Hansen takes the ride again for Richard Hannon and again I cannot see this tough cookie getting beaten. :good:

WIN DOUBLE: .. Under Wraps & Host

Best of luck if having a bet today.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times

I thought I was doing well, a couple of good horsey wins, and after
a nerve jangling play off in the golf last night I had the 50/1 winner
of the Genesis Invitational over in the US. I was jumping up and down
( I didn’t do a Nathan though) and then today I was just hopping mad 🤬

Parked my car in the Morrisons Supermarket just to get some milk. It’s
the 1st time I’ve been in there in months as we’ve been getting everything
delivered, but next delivery is on Wednesday. No longer than 10 mins in the
shop and when I get back to the car some b@&!!*d has damaged my bumper. No
note on the windscreen and the guy pushing the trollys about didn’t see
anything. Worse still they don’t have cameras covering the carpark, just
inside. Spoke to the boss at a local garage, I know him well, he’s really
decent guy, but he says the repair could be costly so I’ve had to bite the
bullet and contact my insurance. So between my £400 excess and my car tax
which I also paid today (£475) that’s my winnings all but scuppered

Good luck with your 2 runners today Jac, Under Wraps just about to go. I’ll
    shout him on :good:

I could do with this

Near where I live by the hospital the road is free to park after 3.30pm until 9am and a lot of hospital nurses and staff will park there.
Unbelievably someone found it acceptable to slash the tyres and scratch the cars 9 in total. Are they for real.? These guys are putting themselves and family at risk to do their jobs and save lives and that is the appreciation they get
I think a just fund me page got it all replaced but makes you wonder what sort of person would do it

That’s sick Nathan, there are some low lives drawing breath out there
    that don’t deserve to.

Just seen this Graham ..what a day you’ve had just can’t belive how selfish and thoughtless people can be and what a rubbish driver to do so much damage in a car park and then be let loose on our roads. God help us

You can bet your life Morrison’s would have had cameras on the entrance & exit clocking how long you have stayed in their car park so they could dish you out a hefty fine if you overstayed your welcome. Our Tesco has notices up all over their car park to that effect.

Like your sick tyre slasher/car scratcher Nathan they also had a period when some unsavoury being was walking through rows of cars and keying their paintwork, dozens of them day after day..what kind of sick minded person would do that?

Brilliant win on the Golf Graham you must have been euphoric and sorry that it all slipped through your hands so quickly, also sorry that my horses ran so poorly today and couldn’t help you out of trouble. I was really disappointed with both of them especially Under Wraps who had dropped in Class but then looked like she needed that extra furlong as she ran on at the finish.

Hope things pick up soon Graham and also hope the selfish barsteward who bashed into your car meets someone equally as selfish next time he/she visits Morrisons. :rose: Jac

    Good luck Darren.. :good:

I just have one horse today in the 17.40 Newcastle..

    TORONADO QUEEN . 11/1 ( Best price) .. EW

I’m hopeful rather than confident as it’s her first run at Newcastle.
she’s a strong finisher so a place could be on the cards. :good:

I also have her at 500/1 AP for the Lincoln in the Ante Post contest so fingers crossed she puts up a good show this evening. B-) Jac

Best of luck with Toronado Queen
that is some price you have in the Lincoln

I’ve had another bash on Beat Le Bon in the 6.40 He was rubbish last time but Newcastle’s straight seems to go on forever and that will help him. Also his second run off a long break and Hannon’s tend to come on for a 1st run as he doesn’t tend to force them. Currently 16/1 best price and Skybet are going 4 places.

Billesdon Brook is going to Dubawi, I know it’s expensive but I think she deserves it…
