Good luck Mark with Janidil. Love this horse, but start of the season, at a total loss as to where I thought he’d go.
I’ll bet him nearer the time, or once NRNB kicks in, but with Envoi here, I’d just slightly favour RSA right now.
If he does come here, I’ll be with you. Hopefully EW
February 16, 2021 at 19:43 #1523326I think there is some real good e/w value to be had in this race with NRNB.
A lot of those in the market will run in alternatives and it could cut up into a smallish field.
Fils dOudairies (33s) & blackbow (40s) strike me as 2 likely to turn up – they are also decent prices in the w/o EA market c20s
Anyone have any e/w angles here not mentioned already?
February 16, 2021 at 20:31 #1523330Allart for me. Impressed on debut in grade 2 over fences over 2 and a half, but has speed as well. Fell latest and debateable if Henderson finds another prep in time. If he turns up would be my bet e/w or without the fav.
February 17, 2021 at 07:44 #1523370FYI Jamie Hendo said Allart was sore post fall and not sure if he’ll make Cheltenham, so defo take NRNB
February 17, 2021 at 08:41 #1523373Cheers
February 17, 2021 at 09:59 #1523379I’ve joined Darren on Chantry House at 25s ew, hoping that Ger Kelly’s magic scalpel has done the job (he did kissing spine surgery on an event horse belonging to a work colleague of mine- worked a treat and the horse was going much better in the dressage arena and over a fence afterwards).
February 17, 2021 at 20:04 #1523450Thanks for the info and Allart and very interesting about Chantry house Grass,
He was certainly professional today and came up nicely the couple of time he was asked for a big one. grounds for optimism there
February 22, 2021 at 23:49 #1524674Rather silly of me to keep backing horses against EA but I’ll add another. My Arkle bet on Blackbowis probably a bust but still like the horse so will add him here.
Mullins said he could go Arkle but he doesn’t jump fast enough to go with AMK, Energumene and Shishkin. Franco is the likely reliable sweeper-upper there if needed.
What’s left for the Marsh? Janidil not entered. Asterion Forlonge a bit better in the DRF but not much. It’s worth seeing if the extra distance helps Blackbow. He’s by Stowaway- like Monkfish, Champagne “shoulda gone JLT” Fever, and Stattler. He’s out of an Accordion mare- other Accordion mares include Blazing Tempo, who got up the hill at Ballybrit to win the Galway Plate for Willie; Feathard Lady who foaled Augusta Kate; and Miss Pickering the dam of Faugheen.
He’s not as mad as he used to be either.
Blackbow 50s ew
February 25, 2021 at 15:59 #1525323Corals are offering 14-1 Envoi Allen to win this and the Gold Cup 2022.
February 25, 2021 at 16:01 #1525324I’ve got that Mike plus a few are doing Monkfish RSA/Gold Cup 2022 aswell
Blackbeard to conquer the World
February 25, 2021 at 22:48 #1525417I’m on that train with you greengrass, hes also 25s w/o Envoi Allen NRNB
My brother fancies Filson Du daries each way, which again I can see getting placed.
Much more e/w options in this than the Arkle I think even though this race is most likely to cut up i think.
Mullins is quite sweet on his arkle hope so I can see blackbow come here.
March 2, 2021 at 15:13 #1526607It cannot be ideal for Envoi Allen having to move stables and adjust to a new routine so near to the race. I can see the bookies taking him on now.
March 12, 2021 at 20:18 #1529223EA is available @ evs max £20 on BFSB. Was offered 10p
March 12, 2021 at 20:21 #1529225Forgot to say it is under special not Marsh
March 18, 2021 at 12:54 #1530627Got my AP ews on Chantry House and Blackbow but having watched Fusil Raffles runs at the course this season I’ve added him too at 16s ew. Ground coming in his favour and he is a decent jumper with a bit of class.
March 18, 2021 at 13:07 #1530638Envoi Allen 3-1, topped up 5-2. Hopefully all goes smoothly.
March 18, 2021 at 13:11 #1530640As long as Townend keeps AF out of the way.
