Not the most eagerly anticipated race at the festival – but I thought Dinoblue made a pleasing enough debut over fences yesterday.
I wonder if she might turn out to be the new contender in this division against a few established names that might have done enough?
Top priced 14/1 with Hills looks fair.
November 21, 2022 at 10:44 #1624031Telmesomethinggirl 10-1
November 21, 2022 at 13:26 #1624049Last years race was very poor cam definitely see one of the newer crop winning
I have backed riviere detel but she ran a bemusing race on reappearance
She’s always jumped slightly right but she jumped so far right the other day it was alarming
She has the ability but they will need to sort that out for her to have any chance
If she does straighten her jumping out her 149 rating which will hopefully go up puts her bang there
November 27, 2022 at 14:33 #1624866Very much looks like RDT has gone at the game
She’s been gradually getting worse
Gordon seems to have pushed her way too hard last season and she’s fallen out of love with racing
Horrible head carriage, poor jumping, on and off the bridle
November 29, 2022 at 11:06 #1625084Have added TMSG before her chase debut on thursday
November 29, 2022 at 12:49 #1625089I do think allegori de vassy should be a cut above the current lot if she doesn’t shorten up too much after her first run (assuming it’s soon) I’ll try and back her when I get the money next month
November 30, 2022 at 15:41 #1625182Just so ya’ll know, Allegori De Vassy is entered in a beginners chase at Fairyhouse this Saturday over 2m5f
November 30, 2022 at 16:00 #1625190Yes Willie has James du berlais in there two who I’m very much looking forward to seeing
Hopefully one of them runs
November 30, 2022 at 16:12 #1625193Shes on some downturn ff, shed have won that by a furlong last season, that was horrendous at the weekend there
November 30, 2022 at 16:13 #1625194To make it worse, i was hovering over laying her and i totally convinced myself shed win, so ended up laying the winner!! Lol
December 1, 2022 at 12:53 #1625276Happy enough with that for first run back from TMG. First proper race in nearly a year.
December 1, 2022 at 18:02 #1625313Not sure id view that as a positive today getting 7lbs from the winner
December 2, 2022 at 01:18 #1625364She jumped ok nothing better
Looked uncomfortable round the tight right handed track
And she usually needs her first run badly
Next time will tell us more
Not good, but not bet in the bin stuff
December 2, 2022 at 11:44 #1625378The bones of two years since shes won a race now, after a plethora of issues and poor showings, cant see it myself
December 2, 2022 at 15:25 #1625395Not sure what issues you mean. The Cheltenham prep run last season was an eyecatching run after a moderate seasonal debut and was travelling well enough when brought down at Cheltenham.
December 2, 2022 at 16:03 #1625397She has a good record left handed 3 from 6
1 from 9 right handed
And always needs her first run
In a very weak race she has every chance if coming on for the run as expected
Allegorie de vasy could just be miles the best but 4/1 held no interest for ms
December 15, 2022 at 00:59 #1626881Allegori De Vassy entered on Sunday at Navan.
FF – I agree the horse is ridiculously short for one that didn’t even run at the festival last year, has never jumped a fence in public and is coming off an injury. However, she was 10/1 a few months back it must have been stable money that’s shortened her up to half the price, they know more than I do. I won’t be backing her at that price alone, but I’ll probably chuck her in a few Cheltenham accumulators this weekend if it looks like she’ll be running on Sunday.
