Once you had the world at your feet but March was a disaster. Its easy to be critical and dismissive of average horses but when they come out and win after being dismissed by pundits live on tv it doesn’t make that particular pundit look the best.I am of course referring the Mage D’estreuval but there are other examles.
Saying that AP was unseated from Black Jack Ketchum was technically correct but only after the horse turned upside down.
Proclaiming Juvigneur the winner in an ultra tight 3 way photo wasn’t the best thing to do on a specialist station.I know a few people who were waiting on him for a right chunk who wern’t too pleased.

I’d say it with every justification.Lydia is a very good journalist but as an analyst/pundit she is open to improvement.Incorrectly calling the result of a race at the Cheltenham festival isn’t the best thing to be doing.Having said that Zoe Bird/Hannon confidently calls the result of every photo finish when she is working.
