Has she been sacked by Channel 4 as I haven’t seen her for ages? I realise she isn’t many people’s cup of tea but at least she can hold good conversations and interviews, which is more than little miss useless Emma Spencer can do.

Are you having a laugh?! I think most viewers would rather see Emma’s boat than Lesley’s
what’s happened to Tanya aswell
July 4, 2010 at 20:05 #304677Isn’t she part of the ‘Jumps Team’ with Alice Plukett and AD?
I like Lesley, she’s always cheeful and I agree she is a decent interviewer. I also like it when Barry calls her ‘posh bird’ when doing his bismark thing.
Always makes me laugh – even after all these years
July 4, 2010 at 20:19 #304683Grinner Graham wants sacking. She is one of the people Channel 4 could do with ditching in order to improve their racing output.
Tom Lee is another one that guy just gets right on my tits, one of those people that just irritates.

Totally agree.
July 4, 2010 at 21:14 #304692Stood watching her on Racing UK duty at Nottingham some time ago and, whilst not exactly my cup of tea, I was struck by the fact that she’s actually a lot more attractive in the flesh than she appears to be on the small screen … bit of a back-handed compliment, I know … but nevertheless ……….
… and no, I hadn’t been drinking before anyone questions whether the beer goggles were on

Doubt it. As far as I’m aware, she has about as much interest in Jump racing as I have about paint-dry watching.
My guess is that her appearances have been dropped because she’s not "glamourous" or "blingy" like Emma Spencer (or has she reverted back to Ramsden – shows how much I know).
July 5, 2010 at 07:56 #304727The main presenters are as follows:-
Flat – Ramsden – Cattermole
N.H. – Plunkett – DownThe others have been rested. It seems Derek Thompson still gets a "look-in" where they have dual meeting coverage as on Saturday.

What about Tanya Stevenson
July 5, 2010 at 08:13 #304733matron, I have no knowledge of who does what, never ask,
but, Nick Luck has presented several morning line programmes recently, or are we only talking afternoon shows?
July 5, 2010 at 09:01 #304741Nick Luck is holding the show together.
July 5, 2010 at 09:56 #304751Barry,
I was refering to main racing programme not, "The Morning Line".

July 5, 2010 at 10:14 #304756As I hardly ever watch the Morning Line anymore – who does? – it would just be nice to see Lesley now and again pereferably during C4’s jumps coverage, mostly due to the fact she has a nice smile, looks a nice person and adds a bit of fun to the show, and my god C4 really needs to lighten up.
July 5, 2010 at 11:21 #304763phil, who watches the morning line, about 400,000 compared to , ATR 40,000 peak times, 30.000 Racing UK.
BTW, how do they guesstimate viewing figures?
somebody suggested they asked a 1000 people their opinions,
never met one of these 1000, has anyone?

I think the main reason nobody watches RUK is their high suscription fee,
outrageous.July 5, 2010 at 11:29 #304765BTW, how do they guesstimate viewing figures?
