That is very true. His huge bet was on Zelzal at 9/4, when I had highlighted that 3/1 was the opening price. True pros grab the value. Why get £6500 back when you can trouser £8000?

Yep. It was only Postponed’s participation that made this a group one race, this is now a group two race.
So sad to see the King George as weak as this.

It’s a feeble contest now but anyone who took my advice on Erupt as the each-way value at 11/1 will be feeling on good terms now that he is 5/1 and one place extra effectively available with the shoo-in out of it.
Erupt 11/1 was the better value, win, lose or draw now.

Group 1 race? Ive seen listed events better than this. I don’t fancy anything either so it will be a nothing event for me.
I like Erupt Steve but I’m concerned about really fast ground for him. That’s pretty much the only reason why I’m out. Good chance though.
Ante post betting can be a disaster if your horse is out but it’s a bargain when you’re against a hot fav and he is pulled.
