Huge drift on Fact To File. Not looking good for antepost backers.
7/1 on Unibet at the time of posting.
December 22, 2025 at 15:22 #1748296Price beginning to correct now. Fake news from the yard so everyone at Closutton could lump on???
December 22, 2025 at 18:24 #1748301Jesus that kind of price would scream injury , hopefully the correction confirms all ok
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 22, 2025 at 18:32 #1748304At times like this, Id like to see the Mullins horses loaded into the horse box on line. Its the only way to know before final Dec’s, who going to the race.
Any ideas as to what day they would leave Ireland to race at Kempton? Perhaps today, or tomorrow?December 22, 2025 at 19:18 #1748310Surely they’ll need to be at the course Xmas eve
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 22, 2025 at 21:04 #1748323Why is that HDLG? Didn’t you know GW can walk on water.
December 23, 2025 at 01:29 #1748327Lol if he could FTF wouldn’t be there
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 23, 2025 at 10:48 #1748333Declared runners and riders…
Banbridge – Sean Bowen
Djelo – Charlie Deutsch
Fact To File – Mark Walsh
Gaelic Warrior – Paul Townend
Il Est Francais – Harry Cobden
Jango Baie – Nico de Boinville
Master Chewy – Sam Twiston-Davies
The Jukebox Man – Ben JonesDecember 23, 2025 at 13:04 #1748335I’d be in the Gaelic Warrior camp here. Shown himself very adaptable trip-wise and as Mike has said no problems right handed. It won’t be easy and F2F has proven he stays 3m while being arguably better over shorter his form behind GDC is still decent. Jango is the unknown but i’d fancy the WPM pair vs him.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!December 23, 2025 at 15:30 #1748337Will Il Est Francais show up in his Kempton form?
Will Gaelic Warrior be over his Durkan exertions?
Will Fact To File see this out in stamina and in spirit (I suspect he’s a wee bit soft in a hard finish)?
Will The Jukebox Man handle the faster pace?
How will Banbridge take to first time visor?
And can Jangoe Bai and Djelo find the 7 to 10lbs improvement needed?I have a terrible record in this race and should know better but at 14s, Djelo appeals as the EW value.
December 23, 2025 at 15:32 #1748338I’ve FTF covered ante post inc a double with Him winning the Ryanair , however I’ve added the The Jukebox Man , he has to improve to win here however he’s been very impressive with what’s he’s done so far , I’m expecting him and FTF to fight this out , I don’t think Jango is fast enough and I can see him struggling with his jumping, as for Gaelic , he could win , he could just as easily pull up , I think he needs plenty time between his races and I’ll gladly leave him alone
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 23, 2025 at 16:15 #1748343Gaelic Warrior has never pulled up in his life…. admittedly there are 3 or 4 occasions where he could have done including going to post..

December 23, 2025 at 16:32 #1748345I have a terrible record in this race
I have a great record in this race between 2006 and 2011
Can Gaelic Warrior match that? maybe not, I’ll settle for 3
1st Gaelic Warrior 7/4 jtf – Held up rear, foot perfect, Townend didn’t move a muscle, horse took him to the front, hands and heels
2nd Fact to File 7/4 jt – 9 – Held up behind leaders, headway to chase leader before 2 out, not fluent last, stayed on run in,
3rd Jango Baie 4/1 – 1 – Held up last, passed beaten horse when staying on, made ground on 2nd after last
4th – Banbridge 16/1 – 6 – Surprised all making the run early, dropped anchor after 2nd, stayed on again
5th – Djelo 12/1 – dh – Mid division, ridden and weakened before 2 out, rallied to dh with Banbridge
6th – The Jukebox Man 5/1 – 8 – Set fast early pace, too fast, mistakes made, came home in his own time
PU – Il Est Francais 22/1 – Set early fast fractions, paid the penalty
PU – Master Chewy 66/1 – Struggled with the pace, made errors, eased downGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
December 23, 2025 at 16:59 #1748347I think you are underselling yourself here, Joe! As I have known you as a spotter “value” horses over a longish period, I must remind you that you picked Tornado Flyer in 2021. No odds at all, indeed! (28/1) That made up for the others over a period of time? In my short and uneducated following of NH, I have been struck by the number of times that the unexpected has confounded form. Good luck over the break and I for one shall certainly be looking at your well informed thinking. Tom
December 23, 2025 at 17:17 #1748348The jukebox man and master chewy are the only 2 I give no chance to. I really can’t fathom what TJM has done to warrant such a price.
December 23, 2025 at 17:30 #1748349He should have pulled up that day he got trounced by FTF Hughsie , instead he fell exhausted into rather than over a fence
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
December 23, 2025 at 17:37 #1748351He could have pu on a few occasions
He was so exhausted he bolted up and the Cheltenham festival next time out… Enigma.. 🐎
I’m not convinced he over did the fractions in the Durkan and although it’s hard for an outsider to judge how fit they were first time out it could be Fact to File ran harder than it looked to get to Gaelic Warrior as you’d have thought he’d win from there.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
