Oh no he didn’t Nick!
October 26, 2013 at 16:05 #456304I bet the owners wished it had after getting the cheque book out for 260k.
October 26, 2013 at 17:31 #456315In fairness Nicholl’s horses today have ran poorly.

Maybe something in the yard? You might well be right. He’s been in decent form till now, but he’d need treating with some caution based on results in Wales.
Three favs at Chepstow, 4/7, 11/8, 7/4 – all hammered. He thought the 7/4 shot his best chance of the day (Betfair column) but he was ‘soon struggling’ (he lost a shoe but that wouldn’t account for such a deplorable run, I don’t think). Ceasar Milan weakened tamely.

I was all over him today Joe and was disappointed with how quickly he threw the towel in after travelling strongly throughout. Apparently he bled after the race which would explain it. Probably one for next time assuming all is well with the horse.
