Looks like El Fabiolo is heading to Sandown – could we still end up getting the next clash with Jonbon…..wouldn’t it be funny if Nicky then decided to go to Punchestown with him instead.

Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 19, 2024 at 22:48 #1691119Funny how logic goes out the window when you’ve a championship to win. Does mullins really want to send el fabiolo to Sandown and do Skelton and Nicholls really need to run every fit horse between now and Sandown. Becoming unedifying to my eyes.
April 19, 2024 at 23:15 #1691122be fair: yes you are correct. They were talking about it on racing radio today ( I didn’t remember it myself). It annoyed a lot of people.

” Does mullins really want to send el fabiolo to Sandown ”
Why not?
“and do Skelton and Nicholls really need to run every fit horse between now and Sandown.”
Fit hardened racehorses running in competitive races before the season ends…why not?“Becoming unedifying to my eyes.”
Becoming exciting to my eyes. I think it’s great. It’s making Ayr a better meeting. I hope all three trainers are still in with a chance after today the Sandown crowd get treated to some good meaningful competitive races rather just a victory lap.Mullins trying to do a Vincent O’Brien, Nicholls trying to equal Martin Pipe and Skelton gunning for his first championship with their owners, jockeys and stable staff all giving it the welly in the team effort to win. Why would you want to work for a boss who just tamely said, “Oh maybe we should just put most of them out in the field now. Third is quite good”.
April 20, 2024 at 17:25 #1691292After today’s four timer, Mullins might not need to bring El Fabiolo to Sandown.
April 20, 2024 at 17:28 #1691293He’s won the championship , he prob won’t have to send much at all
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
April 20, 2024 at 17:32 #1691295Perhaps Nick Rockett, to see if he can secure a high enough rating to sure of getting him in the Grand National next year.
April 20, 2024 at 17:33 #1691296The jumps season doesn’t revolve around Cheltenham after all…😂
Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
April 20, 2024 at 18:11 #1691301Seems over after today, but it brought and extra edge to the end of the season. Presenting Nelly running twice in 24 hrs wa unnecessary though.
Great achievement for Mullins; after being pipped in 2016 I presumed it would never happen.April 20, 2024 at 18:19 #1691304We could still get a nice finale at Sandown and Nathan put it tight, Cheltenham isn’t the only highlight of the season.
April 20, 2024 at 18:31 #1691306Anyone know how much he is ahead by?
The more I know the less I understand.
April 20, 2024 at 19:57 #1691308Exciting it has been ill give you that. Great placement of horses by David casey. Just illustrates mullins huge strength in depth.
April 20, 2024 at 20:02 #1691309RTB, he could be ahead by some 180k…..
April 20, 2024 at 20:47 #1691313Thanks ERL not a foregone conclusion but could be unassailable.
The more I know the less I understand.
April 21, 2024 at 12:42 #1691368Dan Skelton might end up being the leading British trainer for the first time but not Champion Trainer.
