With the summer and flat racing coming to an end and the prospect of jump racing returning, i was wondering when the official time of the changeover is?

Also what jumps meeting do people see as the start?

Days of old it was always Bangor on the Friday of Glorius Goodwood, I guess the 4th Saturday in September with Market Rasen is when the quality starts to improve.

It used to really start at the beginning of October with the Free Handicap at Chepstow.

Thats when you start to see the better horses out.
