Having backed Advertise heavily at Ascot I can’t desert him so had a saver, but I’m not sure he’s going to improve again. Dream of dreams was very suited to Ascot so again not sure he will improve. He might not have to though, but I can see him running a little below his Ascot run. 7 year olds don’t win this so I’m against Limato and Brando, I can’t have a Wokingham horse winning this so am also against Cape Byron. The Fairyland support is interesting, but only from the point of view that her form is nowhere near good enough to win this usually and therefore makes Pretty Pollyanna’s price, who has better form over 6F as a 2 year old now look massive. Raced only over 8F this season, she seems well worth a chance at 14/1. The other bet for me is Ten Sovereigns. Sent off evens fav at Ascot so was very well backed and raced only 5 times is surely open to potentially a lot of improvement. 10/1 looks massive to me and very willing to give him another chance at 6F at that price.

So I would very much argue fairyland has the better 2yo form
And I’d say her run in the king stand is very good form over a trip that is too short on her first go in a proper group 1
Finishing a neck behind mabs cross and 1 1/2 lengths behind battash was a very eye catching effort
Just something to note, when Fairyland beat Pretty Pollyanna in the Cheveley Park, Michael Bell blamed the dip for her 4th. She did win there earlier in her career very easily, but just thought it was interesting.

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!Fair point FF, I’m just going against RPR figures. It can probably be argued either way. Fairyland’s best run is 112, needs a big improvement. I agree it’s likely given how she ran at Ascot but I don’t personally think it will be enough. Pretty Pollyanna needs to get right back to that group 1 winning form and improve a bit on that. It’s at least “as doable” as Fairyland I believe and she’s twice the price. I did read that Jack yep, considering she’d already won there it seemed an odd comment from him.
I did think Henry Candy said he would only run Limato over 7furlongs from now on but obviously had a change of plan
LIMATO 12/1 in the form of his life and loves Newmarket’ if he can win this tomorrow he will definitely have a race named after him.
I have however a feeling that Advertise 3/1 is also in top form and have backed both horses to Win and Rev Forecast…Jac
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...Being probably Advertise;s number one fan and not backing him last time out leaves me in a quandary here!!
I had to back ADVERTISE at 3/1 but I really fancy TEN SOVEREIGNS and at 9/1 was the main pick here.
It looks an open race to me but hopefully my two will show their class
