The RP have caught on to this dry spell at Jackdaw’s Castle as well it would appear. Lead story as of 10 minutes ago was Jonjo having to defend the chances of BJK & ED for over the Xmas period. ED also went for a fair wee walk on the exchanges yesterday.

Win/plc 4 -24, sr – 16.6%It seems to me the RP and others should be more concerned about P Nicholls recent form than Jonjo’s
December 20, 2007 at 17:49 #131378Or maybe they’re both not running anything useful until Crimbo…
And no, Cavelino- I was here first!December 20, 2007 at 17:58 #131381Thanks Carvills, I read his replies on the BF forum. His nick on there and location are the same as yours, which I’m sure you already know anyway.
December 20, 2007 at 18:03 #131382Where did you get those stats from, Charlie D? According to the RP, from 13th-19th PFN has had 4 winners, and a further 7 placed. He had two successes at Newbury yesterday alone! In the same period, Jonjo has had just 6 runners with Intersky Music yesterday the only horse to place, and even he was a BF.
December 20, 2007 at 18:09 #131387Ignore last 7 days Carvs, i’ve got my Jonjo stats mixed up with Nicholls stats
Serves me right for scribbling on a bit of paper and not putting data in any order
Nichols has wins 4 from (i think) 35 runs

See above Friggo,
December 20, 2007 at 18:46 #131389You’ve got me intigued now Cav- though I seldom stray into the backstreets of the BF forum, my username is the same there: what does the bloke you’re talking about post under?
December 20, 2007 at 18:54 #131390The exact BF username is carvills hill. He’s been responding to scepticism about the figures quoted in the article in last Sundays Indo about him. Its in the Irish Sports forum.
February 25, 2008 at 07:54 #146292Fists, what chance does Mountain (3.30 Hereford) have today?
A high-profile purchase on the flat that hasn’t shown much in his two runs so far.
Both those runs were in Class 1 events drops down to Class 3 today and the RP have at 14’s.
Have you heard anything?
Colin
February 25, 2008 at 08:56 #146300Does no response mean no, Fists?
He’s 9.6 on Befair!

February 25, 2008 at 09:24 #146304Sorry mate was out to lunch.
I was under the impression he was going to Southwell later in the week Colin so I’m suprised to see him run today.
You will be taking the chance he has gotten over his operation and is capable of transferring his home work to the track Colin. He’s apparantly been working very well but then he was flying before the Triumph and failed miserably. He would also prefer more cut.
I’ll be sick as a parrot if he wins as I am only having a tiny ew bet as an interest on him as there are 2 too many ifs for me. The RP 14/1 wont be available to me way too late for that but I just saw 8/1 which seems about right. He’s not going there just to look at the people thats for sure as that woudn’t tell them what they need to know.
.
February 25, 2008 at 10:36 #146317Thanks, Fists!

February 25, 2008 at 10:46 #146321Mountain carries a certain degree of stable confidence today. Not overly confident but they believe they can win this race today.
February 25, 2008 at 15:36 #146407Absolutely hopeless. The yard is becoming more and more of a joke every day.
February 25, 2008 at 15:50 #146411now there’s a man who’s talking through his pocket if ever there was one

You were warned he was an iffy bet. Hmm!!!!!
PS be the last time I ever say anything about any of Jonjo’s horses to anyone……..sick to the teeth of uneduacated fools talking crap.
