One rather important point that is seldom raised regarding immigration – if the influx of immigrants is halted how on Earth is Chezza going to obtain even remotely interesting food to eat?

What does Suella Braverman expect Chezza to do?

Subsist on a bland diet of fish and chips and Sunday roasts?

Of all the many things Britain is terrible at, cooking decent food comes close to the top of the list.

Chezza recommends that, to keep the population numbers stable, every asylum seeker has a one-on-one “cook off,” Chezza judging, with a white male who has at least once at some point voted for a Party led by Nigel Farage.

    Winner gets in, loser deported.

    Fairs?

So the fact is we don’t know. If even the Telegraph is only prepared to count 1.2 million, that may technically be plural but ‘literally millions’ is overegging it somewhat. Hundreds of thousands probably closer to it.

As an aside this is literally the only country I’ve ever been to that doesn’t check your passport on the way out. It’s very odd and part of the reason we have no idea on the numbers mentioned above.

Great idea Ian, weekend mornings on TV are basically cooking shows and politics. Roll them all into one and free up the schedules for something else. Masterchef can go too, you’ll save the BBC a fortune.

You’ve picked up my idea and run with it, Richard – brilliant strategy.

“You’ve picked up my idea and run with it”

We can add an egg and spoon race to the show.

    Cracking stuff.

It’s now Chezza’s dream to be sitting at a laid table on a beach somewhere in deepest Kent, eating an exquisite spicy dish from foreign lands (preferably cooked by an equally-exquisitely spicy dish of a cute female asylum seeker) before surveying with deep suspicion, and barely managing to stomach a mouthful of, some pie, eels and mushy peas monstrosity concocted by Paul Golding.

“She’s in, you’re out, fella,” would be Justice Chezza’s inevitable verdict.
