The writing has been on the wall for a while now. If someone as talented as John Oxx feels compelled to pack it in, this does not bode well for the industry on the whole.
For all the well wishes and tributes there will lkely be nothing written on why the Aga Khan and Tsuis moved horses away from Oxx.
Not to suggest there was any serious misdemeanours on Oxx’s part, however somewhat vacant to suggest someone is a master trainer yet not explore why they are unable to make a living from the sport, if it was Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger or Pep Guardiola would the narrative surrounding their demise be so vague ?
