March 11, 2009 at 01:09 #215089If the ground’s good, the leader of my syndicate shoud’ve entered our 111-rated hurdler in the Supreme.
March 11, 2009 at 01:14 #215091think about it.The track record "3m 48.10s" that was done on firm ground.Every year they get the going wrong. Why do you think there were horses getting hurt.It was way to fast.So when you compare goings from back years you cant use the offical going as a bench mark.when horses do a time of 3.52 then the going was firm then.today it was 4.00s odd the going is good……
March 11, 2009 at 01:19 #215092By the way carp horses start slower and finish faster so dont be fooled by the time of a race.A good horse would leave the carp ones behind and beacause they are pack animals would try and chase and soon be cooked. So no leave your 111 where it should be.
March 11, 2009 at 01:26 #215095I hand-timed it at 4.01 but I started as they started running so does that make it towards the back end of good to soft but with a drying week to come, so it should progress through good to Kauto ground by friday?
Maybe not a good week for soft ground horses – it looked good to me.
100% right. Imo kauto will win if there is no rain. The ground will be fast by the end of wednesday. Its nearly good to frim by the first race tomorrow.

Carping on about frim ground and then suggesting a Kauto victory i don’t know which is more likely
March 11, 2009 at 01:57 #215113you clearly dont know what is firm but thats ok.Kauto will prove you wrong.

The RP have the timed ground for Tuesday as
soft
, though I’d suggest it was borderline with g/s.
March 11, 2009 at 08:22 #215209So what is paceform.org?
It looks like a one-man-band tipping service. I don’t know whether I am heartened or put off by the fact that it looks so amateurish. Good luck to them anyway and as a free service (it says) you can’t really grumble.

Agreed, although you won’t get taken seriously if it doesn’t look the part IMHO

March 11, 2009 at 21:14 #215372I have to say the going is worse than yesterday. It makes no sense.Having said that i think the 2 mile races are quite quick. Not sure what to make of it all. They didn’t water last night did they?
March 11, 2009 at 21:24 #215383How about this-
The ground was between good to soft and soft yesterday, not good, and the overnight drying has led to ‘tacky’ ground, which can often be harder to get through than genuine easy gorund.
