    Let’s take a 5 furlong , jock stops riding 20 metres before line like these races described , what percentage of race is horse not pushed in close finish , what energy is saved . Miniscule I guess , makes no sense whatsoever , ride grough the line it is not hard . If your riding Frankel and 20 clear maybe have 20 metres off the clock . Dumb.
    Watched Windsor race a few times , Doyle should buy a lotto ticket this week as his luck is clearly in getting away with that . Horses move about like that in most maidens one or two of them , jockeys rarely fall off and with retainers he’s on I’d have a guess falling off not his thing .

    By a strange turn of karma, perhaps Doyle got let off after losing his win on Jabaara in the Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood 🎲
