Personally I would have the beast trained in ireland for starters…
January 4, 2009 at 22:00 #201568I think its harsh on Daryl to get jocked off…if i owned any horse I would always display loyalty. Clearly Daryl has a connection with the horse.
However, I aint paying the bills so the owner is entitled to do whatever he wants.
January 5, 2009 at 20:46 #201760I remember last season (think it was at Down Royal) The Listener seemed to make a minute error and Jacob went out the side door. Have thought before now that he needs some glue. To my mind Andrew Thornton did very little wrong on him. Had I been the owner, I would not have given Jacob the ride anyway.

I think the owner is wired to the moon personally.and is looking for something that simply is not there

I’d have to admit my mistake and give it back to Andrew Thornton.

Why does that not surprise me Fist?

I think with jockeys it is best to just grin and bare it. Otherwise with potential rides, owners and trainers might wonder what the jockey would say if he fell out with them.

Would that be the same part of the anatomy that Fist mentioned?
January 6, 2009 at 19:47 #201960I think what Ging means is…..he refuses the mount and takes the ride on another horse and as he passes The Listner he does a moonie…..so yes same part

This is the Jacob thread not Hayley’s, so I’d say no to that one.
