It’s not Aiden’s fault that British trainers haven’t entered horses, however having 11 runners in the race, even though he’ll probably only run 2 or 3, presumably means it can’t be re-opened.
October 22, 2019 at 12:40 #1472319Pretty certain on Sunday afternoon AOB said he was only looking to run two in this. With prize money down to 6th he’ll run a few more now. Can’t blame em either
October 25, 2019 at 12:30 #1472494With the ground currently soft going into today’s racing it is no doubt going to be opened up with 90+ runners charging up Town Moor and due to a lot of rain forecast from tonight onwards there is a 7:30am inspection tomorrow. Would be kind of ironic if Saturday’s meeting gets abandoned.
October 25, 2019 at 16:07 #1472732What an absolute shambles. Fair play to Ballydoyle, lets hope there are no issues with their morning transport or we could have a Group 1 walkover!
The same trainers / owners who will no doubt shortly be publicly crying and complaining about British prize money being a disgrace (AGAIN!), are running a grand total of one runner in a >£200,000.00 race. Ludicrous. Why would sponsors bother?
