Rumour has it that Karl Turner has given the Tiggers a pep-talk so expect an improved Hull performance tonight! They were never going to enter the Lions’ den with a one goal lead in a knackered state – after the Canaries game too. Just overdid it on Friday I reckon. Still think the Millwall Tractor Boys will be too mobile in the 2nd half and should qualify.

An ACCA to finish a disappointing season. Not as if I’m not overdue some luck!

    Lions qualify against Tiggers
Saints v Boro 2 1st half goals (the gamble)
Chelsea v Citeh FA Cup BTTS
    PSG Champion League Winners

    8-9 /1 ACCA Chance!

It was just sad to see a team die of stage-fright on their own patch last night on such an important occasion – it might have been understandable at Wembley. The Lions never got their engine started and looked way out of their depth. Maybe they need a new sports psychologist!

I had hoped Boro might have been a good Wembley play but they seem to be carrying one or two slowcoaches who are impeding their overall performance. However they were unlucky not to make an early breakthrough in the first leg. They should go all out in the first half tonight to establish supremacy and the same in any final. The longer the match draws on tonight the more likely a Saints victory.

Mr Scrooge has been working overtime in creating Paddy’s WOPS but he may have left a drop of value in this one if Boro manage to click today

Boro score in each half and register 2 Corners in each half.

    7/2 Chance!

It’s a guess which team will handle heat best but mine is that Boro may be more efficient in that department with the Tigers’ physicality being lessened.

Between their wooden looking defence and deliberate looking attack an Arsenal defeat of something like 4-1 or 5-2 isn’t beyond possibility and might in fact do the Gunners and the Premier League a favour! If my luck was in this season I would be laying into 3 PSG goals (5/1)

Yet if Bayern can underperform so too can PSG and overconfidence and a certain French nonchalance may balance things out considerably. The trophy really is just the cherry on the cake and at this stage we are semi-detached from the regular football season. I expect PSG will concede possession and pick the Gunners off on the counter.

Maybe Paddy’s WOP – Arsenal to find the net and force 5 Corners @ 2/1 is a more sensible interest bet as the Londoners will have to work exceedingly hard.

    World Cup 2026
Top goal scorer, could be all over after the group phase.
Germany could score 10+ in their fixtures, so Kai Havertz 28s E/W Billys and 46s on the exchange.
Just hope ive the right German

Just a reminder about today’s 80 page Racing Post World Cup Pull-Out (Tuesday 9th)

Watching football being played in sweltering conditions not my idea of entertainment but the final rounds should be worth following at least

Fear for the Irish Ladies tonight in France. Will be hard to adopt a defensive posture tonight after mixing it so well against a solid but toothless Dutch team last week
