I’ve heard some nonsense about it possibly causing irreparable damage to his reputation, just how many people who’ve been in CBB have had this happen to them?
By the time he is back riding it will be a complete irrelevance and long forgotten.
His riding will do the talking, not what happened in CBB months before.January 4, 2013 at 16:17 #425244Frankie is the Big I am in the Racing world but in the Real world he’s nothing more than a Big Mouth and we all know what I say about those……….

Frankie Dettori, the "Big I am" of racing Gord? Surely not as big as the self proclaimed "King"?

Ah but Ginge I can back mine up however you want to dress it up! You can chuck the Kitchen sink, the cutlery a few sauce pans and all your toys out of the pram and I’d still blow you down with a feather tied to my ****! Oh and if you want to put that down as percentage Crap its 100% guaranteed! You continue to bore us all with your hypocritical claptrap about ‘Value’ and I’ll continue to write about Horseracing!

Value Is EverythingJanuary 4, 2013 at 18:14 #425259Interesting that the Racing Post chose to run a story with a negative angle today, quoting a supposed PR expert saying what a big mistake Frankie was making, how he would live to regret it, how nothing good would come of it for him and how racing’s image could be damaged.
Certainly not the "this will be good publicity for racing" angle that some might have expected.
The story claimed that Frankie’s business interests, public image and "brand" could be damaged by lowering himself to going on Celebrity Big Brother.
January 4, 2013 at 22:01 #425290Expert manipulation by Dettori – A hot-tub, 4 women, a Gay…….and Dettori!
January 6, 2013 at 21:57 #425553My concerns are so far proving unfounded but early doors Frankie is playing a blinder……….genuine nice guy……a bet at 6/1 on this evidence.
January 6, 2013 at 22:26 #425555He’s just eaten a fry up, he will leave the house the size of Neil Ruddock and have to pursue a career over the jumps.

January 7, 2013 at 00:08 #425567Why Frankie has to keep wearing that ridiculous flat cap even when he’s in bed, I don’t know. It’s driving me mad.

Tommo’s going to want it back soon…

I wouldn’t want a sniffer dog round it either!
January 8, 2013 at 10:06 #425656Who the heck’s Spencer Pratt?
He was on the ‘hit’ US Reality Programme ‘The Hills’ and is married to Heidi Montag, who used to be pretty attractive before she added a load of plastic to her body.
After pushing BB over to C5 I didn’t realise many people actually watches it any more?! A mish-mash of Z list celebrities doesn’t really appeal, not sure what Frankie is getting out of it (apart from the money which he probably doesn’t need?).

If that’s the worst he gets up to, there will be one or two disappointed doom and gloom mongers in the racing media ( Mottershead, Yates, Lee & Co)
January 8, 2013 at 13:34 #425670He told his American housemate that only 100,000 copies of his book " Frankie " had been printed and was now difficult to get hold of .
Surely not.

I still have my copy, which I received as Christmas present in the year of its release.
Some book shops must stock it, I would have thought. It’s not that old.

January 8, 2013 at 13:43 #425672I’ve got a copy too – wonder where the other 99,998 are?
January 8, 2013 at 17:56 #425693Heidi Montag … used to be pretty attractive before she added a load of plastic to her body.
Heidi still looks gorgeous to me. Lovely smile.
I haven’t seen her before now but I am impressed.Certainly beats housemate Paula Hamilton, who doesn’t seem to have had as much luck with her plastic surgery.
In other news, I’m thinking of asking for a recount, or at the very least a stewards’ inquiry, after the lovely Pamela Anderson was unexpectedly booted off the very first programme of Dancing On Ice.

There really is no justice…
Keith Chegwin, who survived the skate-off with her, doesn’t have quite the same appeal.Pamela said at the end of the programme that she slipped after her "boobs fell out of her dress" but, even after several rewinds of the recording in order to investigate and verify this, I sadly couldn’t see any "supporting" evidence (more’s the pity).
Good job we’ve got Emma Spencer and Gina Bryce to look forward to on Channel 4 Racing instead of Pamela.
January 8, 2013 at 19:02 #425695Don’t get me wrong, Heidi is still quite a picture, but I prefer the more natural look so she was definitely better pre-op IMO. My favourite though is the aptly named Lacey Banghard, despite her very annoying voice she certainly knows how to strut her stuff! As for Pamela, you wouldn’t believe she were in her 40s looking like that! don’t really know why she was voted out, what were the British public doing?! Madness.

In Frankie’s garage.

January 21, 2013 at 21:35 #427079Don’t suppose any of you have been keeping up with it but it has been interesting watching Frankie.
Perhaps it is all in the edit but he is so quiet. So subdued – not at all the showman you see at the races.
I can’t honestly say I have learnt anything about him at all. He has given nothing away. No mention of his career, his ban. I have no idea what sort of person he is. The only thing he said that might interest TRF’s is when he said how depressed he was last season and how let down he felt when SDS and MB joined Godolphin. His wife told him to make a decision and he went with personal happiness over the Godolphin money.
Other than that there has been very little from him. He spends most of the time sleeping on the sofa and just keeps himself to himself.
I’m not saying any of this is bad just expected him to be a bit more lively.
He has gone from being one of the favourites to win to being the complete outsider. Not because of anything controversial just because there is not much to him.
