I knew the China one was starting early so got them on. I’ll get the Zurich
choices in in the morning

Darren, my 3 weren’t going to win the 1st round leader so I took a chance on
Alejando Del Rey. He was 5 under after 11 and Yanhan Zhou was in the clubhouse
at 9 under. Paddy Power were offering 35/1 on Del Rey so I thought I’d take the
chance. He’s in the clubhouse on 10 under, I don’t think anyone can get to him.

Darren only 1 of mine in China got through the cut, Wenyi Ding,
but he’s not exactly threatening the lead. I’ve chanced another,
Tom Vaillant, who hasn’t started yet today so he was 50/1 with
Bet365 3 off the lead and in T6th position. I managed to get him
1/5 4 places, I’d say he has a shout

I hope A Otegui can win in China a 2 shot lead he got with 12 holes left in play

Otegui went 3 clear with 9 holes left however he went on to lose by 3 shots Am gutted

That’s a shocker Darren, you’ve hit the post and the bar a
good few times this year, your luck’s bound to change.

That final round with the fitzpatrick brothers was a nightmare
to watch, I thought they had thrown it away when Alex hit it into
a bunker off the green at the 18th, when they needed a birdie, but
what a shot from Matt, 36 yards out of the bunker to 14 ins.
Very emotional when Alex popped it in then fell to his knees and his
big brother Matt running on and hugging him. It’s the first time Alex
has qualified for the tour because of the 400 points they both get.

Darren, I’ve backed Aldrich Potgieter quite a few times , I
always expected him to come good. I left him out these last
few weeks but I see he’s 4 under after 16 holes. He was
generally between 40/1 and 60/1 but I saw Bet365 pushed him
out to 70/1. I’ve taken some of that. Whether he can get
the job done is another matter.
