Kalpana v Whirl and a couple of other useful contenders is on. Was hoping for a touch of rain so will hold fire but I’m thinking Kalpana is capable of giving Whirl the 12lb (WFA)
15/8 BV/Laddies/Boyles
June 26, 2025 at 10:55 #1734679No Estrange btw
June 26, 2025 at 22:05 #1734727Kalpana expect to win
Estrange turn up next week for Lancashire Oaks but suprise not here because apparently it will rain in Ireland at weekend
June 27, 2025 at 21:01 #17347882/1 Whirl, i must be dreaming
Kalpana needs 1m4, not to mention the TWELVE LBS ,the rest wont get near
Best get down here before it closes
June 27, 2025 at 22:46 #1734804I agree Ham, that’s a fair price actually, but I’m taking the ew route with Higher Leaves. I’ve taken the 16-1
June 28, 2025 at 10:27 #1734866If minnie hauk was running she’d be 5/6 and kalpana 6/4, im still firmly in the camp that whirl should have won, so cant not have a max bet on that theory
Price is just wrong (win or lose) but she’ll win
June 28, 2025 at 11:16 #1734870I am in the Kalpana camp and at 15/8 9/4 am happy got those prices, just feel they will ride Kalpana more forward (again) and pick Whirl up, but been wrong many times
June 28, 2025 at 14:06 #1734914I’ll be cheering Kalpana on.
June 28, 2025 at 15:34 #1734942well done ham and winners
June 28, 2025 at 15:43 #1734945I have a feeling that, were there such a thing as a 1m3f race, Whirl would really benefit from it.

So don't run, just like the others always do
June 28, 2025 at 20:45 #1734996Plenty of 10F races for her like Nassau Stakes, Prix de l’Opéra or even the Juddmonte and the 2 Champion Stakes and then you have the BC Filly & Mare Turf which is actually over 11F.
Assume she will avoid Minnie Hauk but if for any reason she blows out in the Irish Oaks they could always redirect her to races like the Yorkshire Oaks, Prix Vermeille and British Champions Fillies and Mares Stakes.
June 29, 2025 at 15:27 #1735081That was a superb finish to the race
A lot of credit has to be given to bothGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
