I backed Blue Bunting
1st
@ 9/2 and Banimpire
2nd
@ 9/1 earlier (both with VC) in the day Reet, on my Daily Lays And Plays thread.
Aye, Ginger – at 11.49, some 30 minutes or so after all the 9/2 had all been hoovered up.

Extremely disappointing and angry that you are trying to drag my name through the mud with such untruths Reet. Especially when only today I gave you some credit in the King George thread.
When I saw 9/2 Blue Bunting and 9/1 Banimpire available on oddschecker with Victor Chandler and I immediately got on VC’s website and placed my bets. Within just a few minutes the bets were on my TRF thread.
Please withdraw your post.
Value Is EverythingJuly 17, 2011 at 19:14 #365014You are WRONG Reet, 9/2 Blue Bunting was still available at exactly 12:45 when I placed my bet with VC. My tips were submitted on my thread just 4 minutes afterwards.
An apology would be nice.

Having put and backed the horse myself, not unnaturally I also took an interest in the prices.
By 11.10 all the 9/2 had gone, a situation that still obtained at 11.30. Unclear as to what happened afterwards, (though your post was 11.49 real time – not as stated) but the way the horse was supported throughout the day suggests it never really lengthened afterwards?July 17, 2011 at 21:06 #365030From looking at Oddschecker Blue Bunting was available with VC @ 7/2 from 11.43 to 11.56.
Well done Ginge, on the winner and the price. Had Banimpire myself
What a tough filly she is though!July 18, 2011 at 00:39 #365055Ginger

I presume my bet was at 11:45 as my Lays And Plays thread shows 10:49 (with the TRF clock still an hour behind). I’ve rung VC and they assure me my wager has been settled at 9/2, as indeed my statement says.
You are wrong!
9/2 was available at 11:45!

From looking at Oddschecker Blue Bunting was available with VC @ 7/2 from 11.43 to 11.56.
Then THM is also wrong?
July 18, 2011 at 01:00 #365057Yes he is. But if Oddschecker are saying what THM says they are saying, then it is Oddschecker that are wrong!
Unfortunately my VC statement does not give a time of bet.
Value Is EverythingJuly 18, 2011 at 10:25 #365080Have had an e-mail back from VC confirming my bet on Blue Bunting was placed at 11:45 and 18 seconds UK time at 9/2.
Value Is EverythingJuly 18, 2011 at 15:44 #365103Christ, in an attempt to settle this little argument it appears I’ve made a boo boo. I meant to say that according to Oddschecker, Blue Bunting was available at 9/2 at that time!!
Dunno why I said 7/2 to be honest
Sorry lads, and well done again Ginge, the price WAS available!

Oh XXXX!
I’ve spent the day attempting to clear my name!
I sent an e-mail to VC this morning, telling them Oddschecker were saying the price was not available. And asked them to e-mail Cormack with proof of my bet.
I wrote an e-mail this afternoon to Oddschecker asking them to put the record straight. It is lucky I decided to wait until tomorrow to send this e-mail.

Anyway, thanks for the apology THM, am sure I’ll laugh about it in a few days time.

Sorry Ginger, one typing error on my part seems to have caused you quite a bit of hardship!
I don’t see why anyone would question the credibility of your posts in the first place to be honest. What have you got to achieve by putting up false prices, very little.
Still, at least you had the winner
July 18, 2011 at 21:55 #365133Seems as though Reet has his own agenda.
No problem THM, forget about it. I know there wasn’t any animosity on your part. You were "trying" to stick up for me after all. We’ve all done typo’s mate.
Value Is EverythingJuly 18, 2011 at 21:58 #365134Can finally enjoy the winner now.

My ‘agenda’ was to query a price which was some way out of line with my own experience, which I detailed earlier.
I was wrong, for that I apologise, though I would point out that is all I did – most of the rest of this saga is down to your own histrionics; and not helped a great deal by your own and HTM’s misreporting.July 19, 2011 at 11:13 #365163Ginger

You did not just "query
a price", you said it was
not
there. You were calling me a
LIAR
. "Histrionics", well if you were accused of making prices up, you’d be angry. My daily lays and plays thread would mean nothing if people did not believe the prices I quote. My "misreporting" was due to my anger and pales in to insignificance against your "misreporting" of the price.
I note your partial apology Reet, but you continued your attack even after I asked you to remove the offending post. I think you knew exactly what you were doing.
