I’m going to stick with Frodon here for all 9-2 is short enough at this stage, with no guarantees that he’ll travel over. Stablemate Clan Des Obeaux equally appealing at 6’s, but can’t bet two at those prices.
Frodon not getting any younger, but I think he’s got another big one in him, and having waited for 11-2, the 5’s disappeared, so 9-2 it is.
Plenty appealing at bigger prices too, namely….

Even if Frodon goes, I’d still like another, and would be interested in any of them Antepost.
The price for Eklat De Rire looks nuts, his Newbury run was too bad to be true, and he’s surely better than that. If he doesn’t declare for The Thyestes, he might just be the one, but Conflated, with a Gold Cup entry, could be progressive, and another who’s a fair old price in a race that can really cut up.

It is absurd that A Plus Tard and Minella Indo and Al Boum Photo aren’t running in this; it is a massive prize in it’s own right, and underlines how the Cheltenham obsession is ruining racing. But once one horse is targeted at only one race, the others have to fall into line
Conflated looks big, with Coral and Ladbrokes holding the 33’s. Has a Gold Cup entry, and he’s slowly going the right way, so at the price, happy to add him here.

I’m thinking they are going for the Denman Chase.
Gone for Minella Indo. Surely they want to see him near Cheltenham level. I don’t think you can compare the situation with last year after he had a fall in the previous race. I like Kemboy, but he is not getting younger.

Frodon front running could set this up nicely.
Cilaos Emery at his age could hardly be called unexposed but he has no collaborative form with the field. His second to Samcro last year being his best bit of form and interesting that Mullins goes outside of the team to book Sean O’Keefe. Big price and could be plugging on into a place at the end if janidil and Asterion don’t deliver. A big ask stepping up in trip but could be anything, even the suprise package.
