Horrible to loose this chappy in his 62nd race and only 7 years old … having completed 61, winning, being placed and thoroughly being a lovely horse for his connections … named Ranger at his stable. Looking at the comments in running his final run seems to have been showing maybe all was not well … Bumped start, always towards rear, pulled up quickly over 2f out, fatally injured (op 15/2). He raced many times at Newcastle … sad end.
