Tourist died today at Lingfield. He gave his all for us as he always does but today giving his all was too much. He collapsed on the track after suffering a heart attack.
I saw him ten days ago enjoying a gentle exercise canter. Colin, the lad who rode him, said he felt grand.
He raced on two other occasions for us at Lingfield. He won both races.
He was with us for less than a year but we shall not forget him.
Thanks to EmmyK for the pictures of him. I’ve attached one of him before his debut run for us at Windsor.
And here he is producing the most devasting run to land the spoils on his previous run at Lingfield.
