When will Imad Alsagar and his mates get the message that Hollie was never the problem.

About the same time that the media leave Prince Andrew alone?

It is obvious that the way Hollie Doyle was sacked has shot her confidence as she currently cannot buy a winner. She needs to have a period of rest and reflection and come back fighting next season.

There’s an awful lot of much better jockeys than her that have lost retainers , been sacked by trainers , owners etc. ( some correctly , some unfairly) , over the years.

I don’t recollect many of them needing to take time off to rest and reflect mate. I would suggest that would be professional suicide.
I believe that she has a contract in Hong Kong over the winter , anyway.
She is riding poorly in my opinion , but hopefully her G3 winner for Watson , on the all weather at Dundalk today will give her something of a boost.
If she loses that job , she will undoubtedly become a gaff track, jobbing jockey.

In a rare trip to Ireland she wins a G3 at Dundalk last night meaning that her two wins in Ireland have both been at Group level (the other a G1 with Bradsell in the Flying Five last season) and she will be off next weekend to ride in Hong Kong through November and December.

    Good luck to her.

Hope Hollie does well in HK, since the start of the season the two EX brits, Kingscote 78 rides Probert 64 rides. No wins between them so far. Surely she will make better job of it out there :good:

The jocks on short term contracts or new ones seem to get the dross , plenty slow horses down the class 5 s . So not getting many winners the norm , I think Jason Macdonald went up few years back before he really hit the heights and was mostly seen out the back .
Same as most new trainers , stable full of the cast offs then a slow move up .

Since sacking Hollie Doyle before the York Ebor Meeting Imad Alsagar has only had one winner and about a dozen losers. A horse Hollie Doyle won on against a very good horse went to Italy only to be beaten out of sight.

It will be interesting to see what the new year brings.

Hollie Doyle rode a winner , Run Run Smart @ 204/10 , on the first day of her return to Hong Kong .

She also rode the horse to win at Chester on the second of its only two starts in the UK . It has only won 2 races and she is 2/2 on the horse .

She coped a 1 meeting ban in the winning ride, 60 K HKD fine too after cutting someone up around first bend . They took into account good record , that is the stipes being kind there , they won’t mess about next time .

On the same day as Hollie Doyle was riding a 20/1 winner in Hong Kong one of Imad Alsagar’s outsiders was beaten over ten lengths at Kempton. If I were Inad Alsagar I would sack his strategy manager.

Hollie Doyle won another race today , at Sha Tin , on Double Win @ 5-1 . Richard Kingscote rode his first winner since his recent return to Hong Kong .
