Not really, but I think there should be a vacancy going. The following is from a Bunbury Cup piece on their betting news web page regarding Ertijaal and his chance.
Stiffer test the right option for Ertijaal
However, the son of Oasis Dream’s breeding and past performances both suggest that the Bunbury Cup’s shorter distance will suit.
Yes, that shorter trip will really make it more of a test

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
July 8, 2014 at 12:39 #484997Well Newmarket should be a stiffer test than the 7f at Lingfield, he was made plenty of use of in those races also so given similarly forceful tactics on a stiffer track you get where they are coming from, though maybe it should have been worded better!
July 8, 2014 at 13:45 #485000I should have made it a bit clearer. The article was based on Ertijaal dropping from the mile trip in the 2000 Guineas, where they didn’t think he stayed, down to 7f at the same track!
1 mile at Newmarket down to 7f Newmarket, stiffer test?

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
July 8, 2014 at 13:52 #485002Yeah sounds a bit gobbledygook. I would say a stiff 7f will suit him on his evidence from Lingfield but makes little sense basing it on his Newmarket run.
July 8, 2014 at 18:39 #485015Yes well we are famous for getting things wrong.
Only this week 2000+ shops were ordered to throw out our Goal Rush coupons for this midweek aster they managed to prints tomorrows world cup semi final as Costa Rica v Argentina.Shocking waste. Shocking carelessness.

Interesting. That mistake has cost the company umpteen thousands; had a member of shop staff overpaid a customer by that amount, they’d have been sacked immediately. I wonder if the same fate will befall the numpty who got the coupons wrong?
July 10, 2014 at 09:09 #485117They have just seven horses quoted in their betting for The Arc. Quite incredible.
