So according to the RP website we could be seeing the Hurricane Fly/Binocular clash earlier than most people thought!

    Bring it on!!

Reports suggest both camps are targeting the Grade 1 Maplewood Developments Hurdle at Punchestown on November 15th.

The result of such a match up would have a massive bearing on the Ante post market and in my view the widely available 3/1 on HF will be long gone come the evening of the 15th Nov!

Solwhit may be involved as well?

    Will Binocular enjoy Punchestown?

    EDIT Whoops I meant Fly

    Fly, not Run.

A monster of a clash this early on in the season. Surprised Nicky Henderson is heading to Ireland with Binocular. Must be plenty of options for him over here?

Binocular needs some top class race experience, if he has strengthened up as reported then its time to take the cotton wool off!! Get more runs into him, let him learn from his mistakes….

    Might be JP’s decision??

I’ve heard that Hurricane Fly might not be ready until the Hattons Grace or Leopardstown at Christmas.

I can’t see them clashing so early on – will Henderson really want to risk writing off Binocular and Punjabi’s Champion Hurdle chances so early on?

If they do meet, there’s a big shake up due for the Festival ante-post markets.
