Today the sand thieves celebrate , as the AW season kicks in earnestly .. wall to wall grade 5 and 6 , all for a prize fund of 3k each time ….and you are betting on it

[b:3rhbm76b]so get some sense and stop betting on the all weather …[[/b:3rhbm76b]/b]
Dont play into the bookie’s hands , and ignore the pleas of the bookies rep , remember without your cash , this garbage cannot take place …you have the power to stop it
Lets give the bookies rep the worst start possible
, they may have their man in place , but they cannot force you to bet!!!imo
January 2, 2015 at 11:57 #500132Hey, don’t knock it Ricky. There are plenty of familiar old names in action on the sand today – it must be a good thing that they still have a chance to win races and earn some corn.
Check out the claimer at Southwell. You’ve got 2011 Golden Jubilee runner-up
Monsieur Chevalier
up against the Listed-placed
Mishrif
and 11-times winner
Toto Skyllachy
.
Cult hero
Kung Hei Fat Choi
goes in the 1.55, which is a
CLASS 4
with a field rated 80-73 that would surely not be out of place on many weekends. Top trainer
John Gosden
has a runner in the maiden, continuing his support of this season’s all-weather racing. They must be producing a good surface and fair prize pots when you look at the number of nice horses he has been running on the all-weather this year.
You’re proved wrong again by the card at Wolverhampton, which is highlighted by the
CLASS 4
17:45 – a stonking two mile handicap featuring horses rated 87-72. The race was won by progressive jumper
Shelford
last year, so it’s well worth looking out for hurdling prospects there.
The continuing battle between Kirby and Morris for the all-weather jockey’s championship is also looking interesting, arguably much more interesting that the turf alternative. Unlike when Richard Hughes was desperate to ride twice as many horses to beat a completely disinterested Ryan Moore, you’ve two jockeys trying their hardest to win a title.
I only woke up at 11:30 and don’t have much time to study, so I probably won’t have a bet on the all-weather today. Even so, I’ll be watching every race and loving it. Maybe you could do the same if you open your heart a little, Ricky.
January 2, 2015 at 12:01 #500133Bet on the National Lottery not on the All Weather lottery.
January 2, 2015 at 12:03 #500134Young fella …no worries ,,,,you just got to look at the big picture ….
good luck if its your cup of tea….you will be needing it
January 2, 2015 at 12:05 #500135My New Year’s Resolution is to take you to Great Leighs and spend a night chatting about speed figures, polytrack and the progeny of Hard Spun. When are you free?
January 2, 2015 at 12:33 #500138If you can win at it, fair play, if you can’t give it the body swerve as the man in the hat says.
Btw, over the years I have managed to be ”in on” various coups without actually going through the squalid business of talking to any of the murky people associated with them,.
This is because I can watch a betting market and see a move for a horse who clearly hasn’t been doing his best/ running at its best distance lately but is clearly expected today as the price is shortening – derr!

It's the "Millwall FC" of Point broadcasts: "No One Likes Us - We Don't Care"January 2, 2015 at 20:19 #500187If you backed every steamer you would be outside Tesco’s selling The Big Issue in double quick time.
January 2, 2015 at 23:46 #500208Ricky lake – I don’t mind having a dabble among the exposed lower class races, you pretty much know they are at least TRYING to run to the best of their ability.
Graded jumps racing up to the Cheltenham Festival doesn’t hold this trait. It’s not their "cup final" you see, or they are being "trained to the minute".
January 3, 2015 at 01:21 #500216got to admit had a little dabble on southwell today love my jumps racing too but with small fields missing fences hurdles out and plenty of races with big odds on favourites in them why not especially southwell you can do ok going for cd horses i am a fun punter so count my stake as the same as going down the pub and i also think there is a place for the horses who are not quiete as good but try there hearts out too
January 4, 2015 at 21:27 #500413It’s good to know that people are at least aware that there are races in which horses are not trying. That growing awareness should in time result in zero betting for this accursed sham of sporting contests.
January 4, 2015 at 23:18 #5004251.50 Wolverhampton Monday Queen Aggie 9/2 Ladbrokes
Looks solid for a good run.
If it doesn’t win it
must
be a conspiracy

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
January 5, 2015 at 10:09 #500442The other major problem is the AW holds back the turf flat season it’s now mid May at least before the turf gets going and starts to get rid of the clutter of AW form. A good half the turf season is wasted now

I rumbled the "coup" so they have pulled Queen Aggie out of the race now.

Mopps Angel was always going to win today, her talent was well hidden until now. Paid 6/1 g/ odds.

Who said they are doing that?

Come off it.She only just got up in the shadows of the post and you could argue the 2nd was less than willing leaving the door open.
They went off at some kind of pace also which certainly aided her as she is a perennial slow starter and if not for a strong pace I doubt she would have got there.
She won her 2nd start so hardly spent her life not trying and had only raced 9 times up to yesterday.
If you had seen her race regularly you would know she has developed a bad habit of jumping away slowly (sure you will say she is pulled at the start) and compromises her chances by doing so.
Appleby is the best trainer around at Southwell, these days, he has a 25% strike rate in handicaps over the last 120 days so hardly accuse his Southwell runners of not trying, bottom line many horses hate Southwell, some thrive. She clearly is in the former.
She is a bit of a madam evidently and requires a lot to go right for her, but non-trier she is not. This consistent diatribe is just tiresome.
January 6, 2015 at 15:02 #500564Did you back her TBT? You make a very strong case for her.
