One for the notebook after looking unlucky at York LTO – looked very progressive all season. Drying ground will help, won on Good previously as well as G/F.
Backed it this morning – as low at 7’s, i backed at 13.5 on BF. Have logged on for a nosy just now and am horrified to notice a drift out to 28-29. My confidence has dwindled somewhat – i was minorly concerned that Gibbons was not in the plate, but shrugged that one off. Anyone else got any comments that could explain such an alarming drift?
September 10, 2010 at 14:23 #316916Maybe it’s the potential negative of stall 1, particularly as the jockeys have been moving away from the far rail, even in round course races.
Kaptain Kirkup in stall 2 has been weak as well.

September 10, 2010 at 14:34 #316919No surprise for me, I have it 20/1, surprised you were prepared to go after it at 7/1. Still, opinions and all that. Usually backed this stable runner though close off, don’t panic just yet!
September 10, 2010 at 14:38 #316920Didn’t at 7’s tbracing, that 12’s-ish was fair enough.
Cheers for the replies.

September 10, 2010 at 16:15 #316939Trip was a major doubt today – think he is basically a 5f horse so 6.5 on rain softened ground was a significant negative.
September 11, 2010 at 07:18 #316998Had a line through him for exactly the same reason TDK- best at 5f or an easy 6.
