Arguably the two best horses in the world meet in a £1 million plus G1, and hardly anyone takes any notice. Are we really so parochial we can only pay attention to races featuring European trained horses?:o
April 28, 2007 at 12:15 #55553I doubt the situation will change until HK stops being so parochial and starts to welcome UK-based punters, instead of doing whatever it can to shut them out.
EB may be making encouraging noises, but there’s no delivery yet.
best regards
wit
April 28, 2007 at 14:11 #55556Indeed, Zorro.
Remember the silence over Silent Witness’s sensational performances a year or two back?
I look forward to the RP’s extensive coverage of the Grand Steeple-Chase De Paris next month.
April 28, 2007 at 14:34 #55557I really find it difficult to believe that they are making Kauto Star travel all that way after the season he’s had.
April 28, 2007 at 22:05 #55558I’ve had look and only market is with Blue Square.
Unless bookies/exchanges form markets and tv companies show the races, no one will be interested in these top class foreign races

April 28, 2007 at 22:11 #55560There’s not even a market on Betfair for the Prix Ganay tomorrow FFS!
April 28, 2007 at 22:17 #55561Yep David, it’s all very disappointing m8, at least we may be able to watch Longchamp
April 28, 2007 at 22:46 #55564You can watch Admire Moon v Vengeance of Rain at 9.30 on ATR. The other one’s on too at 8.50. They are also showing the the Spring Tenno Sho, but that will almost certainly be a recording.
April 28, 2007 at 22:58 #55566Cheers Zorro, looked on RP website but no ATR sign, so thought it was not being shown
April 28, 2007 at 23:45 #55567According to my ratings, Admire Moon should beat Vengeance of Rain by 1.75L ;)
3rd is a close call, but i’ll go for Viva Pataca to fill that spot

April 29, 2007 at 07:54 #55570Looks as though it’s delayed replay for Champions Mile. Maybe they’ll show APQEll live (ish).
Hope you’re right about Admire Moon, empty. Fear the Take factor though.
April 29, 2007 at 19:21 #55573Hope you got on Viva at 33s empty!
What a superb ride from big Mick.
April 29, 2007 at 21:08 #55575Didn’t have a bet Toneloc and agree a good ride by Kinane
May 2, 2007 at 22:44 #55576So is Comic Strip (AKA Viva Pataca) the best horse in the world now then?
May 2, 2007 at 22:57 #55577A Dirt horse called Invasor is best horse in World Alderbrook
As for Vengeance of Rain and Admire Moon, a trip to Dubai could have proved costly regarding this race, it has cost a few their next start imo
May 2, 2007 at 23:19 #55579Here’s a race
Admire Moon
Vengeance is Rain
Dylan Thomas
Soldier of Fortune
Viva Pacata
Regime
Sir Percy
Red Rocks
chuck in those still to make their appearances like Rail Link, Passage of Time etc and the potential middle distance horses running at weekend
you would have a humdinger of a race imo
