Just read this and so sad that this lovely horse who was also a much loved stable pet lost his life in this way.

So many horses passed on here since Royal Ascot and I haven’t been able to bring myself to visit it has been so upsetting especially the incident at Newton Abbott where 4 horses died.😪
RIP to all of them 🌷🌷🌷🌷

Reading Harry With Style’s story it brings it home how dangerous the sport is for both horse and rider and thankfully his young jockey will make a full recovery. Sad that he couldn’t be caught before colliding with the fence and injuring his spine.

Thoughts to all connections on the sad loss of this much loved young horse.🌷😪

It’s sad on so many levels, isn’t it? Sad for the young jockey who should have been celebrating coming second, sad for the stable staff but above all sad for the poor horse who must have been so scared.

Well said Moe, what should have been a happy celebration saw hopes and dreams shattered.
We can’t wrap our horses up in cotton wool it’s what they are bred for, but horses, more than any other animal, will always find a way of either lifting or breaking our hearts. 💔
