Surprised to see Happy Romance heading the market. She hasn’t won since this race last year. She has been a double figured price in the last 10 or so starts and half of those at least 20’s. Maybe this raced is viewed as easier than those that have come before but still plenty of interesting opposition.
Go Bears Go is my pick at 16’s. He hasn’t been in great form lately but certainly capable of being up there and the price seems big to me. I feel Rossa went too fast too soon last time out and I’d expect a more patient ride this time aroundGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
July 15, 2022 at 22:54 #1607126It’s a really intriguing race. I had a nibble on Chil Chil @ 14’s. She goes well fresh and her last two efforts were very good ones in group 1’s. Had a bite of Saint Lawrence at 16/1 as well, he ran with credit in the Kings stand stakes, a step back up to 6f should suit and he likes a bit of Newbury (3 runs, 1st 2nd and 3rd),
July 15, 2022 at 23:21 #1607129Rohaan has a favourite’s chance IMO.

Diligent Harry
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
July 16, 2022 at 13:20 #1607222One of my favourite flat races, ever since backing Courageous Buzby placed at 33/1 each-way back in 1980-something. Used to go regularly when the race weas part of the Friday card but it moved a day later a few years before I moved to Scotland, and everything seems to gravitate toward Saturday these days.
I’m another Diligent Harry supporter. He just missed out in this race last year, and ran better than final position suggests at Ascot.
July 16, 2022 at 13:30 #1607225This week on group level sprint lottery I have selected minzaal and go bears go
Think both are better than they showed at ascot

July 16, 2022 at 14:10 #1607235Run To Freedom – drifting a bit, but tempted each way four places at 16-1. 10th in the Platinum Jubilee but only beaten 3.25 lengths. Alcohol Free was 9th, half a length ahead, and Double Or Bubble was 11th, a nose behind. They went on to run 1st and 5th in the July Cup. Decent chance on that form, down to G3 level.
July 16, 2022 at 14:30 #1607240I’d be delighted if Rohaan could follow up but wonder if he’d get those breaks this time round.
MAN OF PROMISE can improve on previous run and take this, while of the outsiders for each way money
GO BEARS GO and SAM MAXIMUS stand out.July 16, 2022 at 14:54 #1607244Run To Freedom taking his name too seriously there. Cue the 20/1 dropping to 10/1 before withdrawn. Cynical B******.
July 16, 2022 at 15:04 #1607245Minzaal capable of that
Still want to see Go Bears Go take a bit of cover but at least he battled back for 2ndGaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
July 16, 2022 at 15:10 #1607246Fair play to Owen Burrows, I’d like to see him have runners for a variety of owners. Or for the Hamdan man to give him more.
July 16, 2022 at 15:46 #16072521st and 2nd

Did it well in the end
Commentator sounded desperate for rohaan to win
