I’m not convinced Eldorado will be suited to 4 miles plus looking at his profile. Best form up to 25f, wins at less than 3 miles after 21 chase starts.

Iwilldoit is my first bet at 50-1, surely they will go for it this season

I seem to remember there was a miscalculation last season over the number of chases he had ran in.
But a good shout if its soft going.

I’m not sure what conditions, if any, he still needs to fulfil but I’m just wondering if the Cromwell stable might just consider a tilt at the National with Flooring Porter

Flooring Porter won’t get home will he?

I don’t see where else he can go. Would they want to go NH Chase or save him for a possible tilt at £500,000. In the old days I would have said he was way too small but doesn’t matter anymore. It’s essentially a brush hurdle race and that’s his territory.

    Just thinking out loud.

I’ll be backing Corbetts Cross the moment he’s priced up somewhere. Getting the Noble Yeats treatment.

The biggest shame is he’ll be beating Kitty’s Light come the day.

That wouldn’t be the greatest shock to see him either

40/1 with Unibet is Corbetts Cross

William Hill are also offering 40’s. I have backed him and topped up on Kitty’s Light.

I’m pretty sure my other bets will eventually be Vanillier, Royale Pagaille and Eldorado Allen, but I’m happy to wait for the weights before committing on those.

If one of the requirements is still needing 6 chases, then on a count of 3 won’t be lining up in April.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

Meetingofthewaters has to come into the reckoning now. When Brassil plots one, you have to be decent and ahead of the handicapper in order to foil it. We saw that twice at Cheltenham last year. He’s had his expected hefty hike and dare I suggest that the UK handicapper will put him beyond the 145 he is in Ireland in case connections fancy a dart at the Kim Muir. Looking at the pedigree, there is every indication stepping up in trip could bring about the necessary improvement.

Wouldn’t surprise if we see an entry over here in a chase before the Festival.

Frank Berry on Nick Luck’s podcast said Corbetts Cross won’t be going for the National this year

Not surprised. Doesn’t look like a horse that i would call a rhythm jumper as yet.

Or trying to get a better price.
