Conflated will be here , he,s being aimed at the cross country at Cheltenham , poor first run during the week is a glaring prep by Mr Elliott , expect to see some more before March to help that hcap mark , couldn’t have Franco , he,s been turned over to many times in handicaps , I honestly thought he,s be one they,d get out of the yard ,

I’m another one having my head turned by Eldorado Allen. I was amazed he wasn’t aimed at this last season, but que sera. If they can get his mark down to sub 150; he’ll be very much on my radar.

I’m hoping connections of Royale Pagaille finally accept that they have a very good handicapper on their hands as opposed to a Gold Cup contender. Another one who needs to drop a pound or two to give him a chance, but all the same; surely this is the season to catch him?

No point in looking at the Irish contingent until they have had their mickey mouse campaigns before the weights. I’m expecting something like a 25:9 Irish to British ratio on the day.

I don’t think Eldorado Allen will get the trip.

I wouldn’t be 100% sure of his stamina either, but a class horse on a good mark is always worth a look.

Half the fun on the National is trying to make cases for the most unlikely suspects!

I’d say your looking a near graded performer nowadays , Kitty isn’t that , more a snow leapardess

Kitty’s Light is still only 7. He may do better still. His mark of 147 looks just right. I wouldn’t compare him with Snow Leopardess who was 10 and 11 going into Nationals. Not at this stage anyway :o)
One For Arthur wasn’t a graded or near graded performer so that’s not a given, as I mentioned before if a horse is well handicapped and isn’t an oldie they can win.

Fair enough but I wouldn’t say Arthur’s race was particularly strong , I expect to see 3 or 4 prev Gold Cup runners in the 2024 one

Fair play to you guys debating/picking GN’s horses this far out. I have no idea how you do it, or how you even want to lol.

I’ve scanned the market + i’ll just throw two names in there, not sure if they’ll come here, or anything.

    Stattler + Feronily

Feronily is an interesting horse for the season ahead Jack. He definitely fits the bill for me just now but I haven’t seriously considered a bet yet

It’ll be interesting to see what Mullins does with Stattler , complete no show in the GC , not convinced Cheltenham is his course , GN could be a shout but maybe the Irish one is a better shout

Sure it’s half the fun of the fair Jack.
Forgot to mention Mars Harper who has an entry in the Munster National.
I’d be interested in him for this and the NH chase at Cheltenham- being a second season novice who’s flourishing up in trip, and an unflashy jumper as per Joe’s thoughts.

First bet for me before he runs in The Munster National, The Goffer. On the younger side, but I think he’s a National horse (despite slight reservations about the trip), and have to bet him before Sunday

    The Goffer 66’s EW 6Pls

    Edit Added Stattler 50’s

Hopefully those at Seven Barrows weren’t disheartened by Fantastic Lady not winning the Grand Sefton as I think she has a chance here

She’s related to a Welsh National winner and a Grand Steeplechase winner so a slow paced 2.5 miles would have been against her yesterday

The question is whether or not Henderson can plot the right season for her
