Hein, you really seem a miserable individual you talk of joy and fun yet here you are spreading your negativity! serious bettors bet for profit not fun. You seem to of posted just to be provocative? that to me speaks for itself :negative:

I’ve gained winners from this thread so I thank GT and as said before enjoy his insight.

Indeed, some disgraceful stuff from hein here. This forum is becoming utterly toxic – horrible behaviour going on in the memorials section, mindless bashing of pretty much the only proven long-term winner in the DLAP section, security issues…

What a shambles. Cormack has a lot to answer for.

Don’t worry Igor and all of GT’s followers, I’m fine.

Won’t be able to get on TRF, so you’ve got a GT free zone for at least a couple of days, Hein. :rose:

    In my absence:
    A message to my “followers”.
Thanks for your defence and devotion.
But don’t be too hard on Hein.
    Forgive the non-believers.
They know not what they are doing.
They blame the ginger man.
Love to all my subjects.

Three wins (well, two wins and an each way place) from three races Sunday, but unfortunately they were all saver bets and fractional loss made on the day. Could’ve been so much better, with main bets second in all races Flag Of Honour @ 6/1, Pretty Pollyanna 14/1 and Study Of Man 8/1, with SP’s of the three 4/1, 9/1 and 4/1 respectively suggesting got good value, so am happy they were good bets… No (or next to no) damage done and that’s what savers are there for. :good:

    Sunday, Irish 100 +3, Tatts GC -9, D’Ispahan +2.
    Stakes 371
    Return 367
    Defecit -4

I’m awaiting your Derby betting thoughts with great interest GT! You will wait until Friday evening you think? I’ve done all of mine now, but be good to cross check! Do you always keep to listed standard and above usually when you bet? I was looking at Nayef Road in the first Handicap on Saturday, looks miles above the others at 5/1.

I’ll be betting on the Derby once final decs are known, Frenchy.
These days I only occasionally do a big handicap if can’t find enough Listed+ to bet in. But am not keen on betting in Epsom handicaps anyway. Too much trouble in running. Good luck with Nayef Road, you’re right that he is the best horse in the race, but personally I’d be surprised if there wasn’t an unexposed improver that beats him. Maybe if only playing one horse then an each way Nayef Road might be best. :good:

    9/1 Maqsad, I wouldn’t be surprised if she starts around 9/2. ;-)

Queen Anne prep for the old Rev-dog at Baden-Baden today, GT. Takes on Irish raider Imaging and some locals at 4.10.

Would want to be winning quite well to have a chance next month, obviously. Ground described as ‘good’ by the local turf club, though that could be anywhere between g-f and heavy!

I would agree on Epsom handicaps, I never bother looking them, except what’s on Derby Day as I go every year. I’ve actually done alright out of this one recently, there are a few decent trends that have worked out okay. However, think you are right, the best betting play is one of those dangerously low in the weights improvers with Nayef Road EW. Thanks for the advice.

Are you looking at the two Group 3s on Derby Day before the weekend at all?
