I’m surprised Sizing Europe is going for Sprinter Sacre, thought they’d like his chances in this but they’ve stuck it out and are trying to take on the beat!
I have a cheeky £10 on Riverside Theatre at 7/1 but I’m not confident in it, mainly put it on because I think odds wise he’s the best value if FL fails to fire all guns blazing, definitely a very good horse but his half length victory to Albertas Run isn’t the strongest form around even if AB is always primed for the festival.
Starting to warm to For Non Stop after re-looking through his form and reading what you’ve said, will have to put a saver on him as he has great odds compared to the rest.
Afraid I’ll have to pass up the offer of a swap – not feeling generous enough yet

Interesting to see Ruby just said Boston Bob looks the best he has for 12 months! He even hinted he’d have ridden him if he’d looked this good when he made his choice of who to ride.
Let’s hope today sees us all some profit!

Well so far I’ve backed three in the John Oaksey. Tofino Bay looked all over the winner before idling and also had the third and fourth… And was going to back The New One in The Neptune before Twister got a virus!

… And now Hadrians Approach, who didn’t jump a fence and finished third…
And Boston Bob, another who looked the winner before Townend appeared to take his hand off the reigns at the last to slap him down the neck with the whip.

May be Sanctuaire will refuse to race and make it a clean sweep?

Well, an each way ante-post bet 4th, just about sums up my Festival so far.
It’s a good job my village isn’t on gas!

Value Is EverythingMarch 13, 2013 at 17:31 #432504We all have days like that. Still, could be worse. We shall see what tomorrow brings. One good win and could be level.
I had Champagne Fever, which got me out of trouble with River Maigue.
Got excited about Loch Ba but then I saw he had no course form … surprised you got caught on that.Hope you celebrated with Champagne Prof.
Sometimes price means it is worth taking a chance on no Cheltenham form Prof. Backed Loch Ba @ 12/1 and came down to around 8/1 I think. Usually ridden much closer to the pace, hated it out the back, didn’t jump. These things happen.I saw him race last term at Sandown when he got beat, but I like him. My had was about to click on betfair to back but something stayed it.
My big one today was Rule the World, and I thought I had it right.
Later I got excited about Terminal’s form. And paid the price. I notice at the festival that good graded form doesn’t always cut it. Any theories on this?
I made a similar error with Barbatos and Bondage. The final error of the day was Pistol. But I bear no malice. When I looked at the card this morning I thought: This will be a day to watch.March 13, 2013 at 18:11 #432512Stayers (World) Hurdle

Thought the same on the day Prof, but fancied The New One before Twister got the bug. Must say, Ruby rode some brilliant races yesterday, but got it badly wrong on Pont Alex. Making a slow pace just played in to speedier types hands.

Townend what a n0b, why on earth take that risk at the last?!
