Thanks Gord/Pants, think the "shaky start" was at the time of me and Gord’s falling out, so may be it effected me worse than I thought. Had a poor last couple of weeks on the flat too before transfering over to Jumps. Normal service has hopefully been resumed. Another one yesterday (albeit a saver) means it’s 6 winners in a row. Good job the saver ran well though, as one main bet fell and hampered the other main bet.

Am going to see if I can do more bets midweek this season. Will do a few Class 4 handicaps but most will be Class 3.

I would think it’ll be the Albet Bartlett Darran, stamina seems his strong suit. Looks a really likable, genuine novice hurdler. However, personally I doubt whether Coneygree will be as effective on good going. Has a very rounded action which usually favours soft conditions (as last time). Unlikely to be so testing come March. Also, although the form of that race looks good on paper, I don’t think either Village Vic or Fox Run showed their true running in the ground, so may themselves do better at the Festival/on a decent surface.
