If that’s what your 100% book is then your prices to take are well costructed IB.
Might be worth checking 100% books by adding what would be a bookies mark up to your own prices and asking if you’d (theoretically) lay all those prices? If the answer is no, then the 100% price may well be wrong.
100%
4/7 Toormore 63.6% + 3 = 66.6% =
1/2
11/2 Be Ready 15.4 + 2.75% = 18.15% =
9/2
14 Anjaal 6.7% + 1.5% = 8.2% =
11/1
14 The Grey Gatsby 6.7% + 1.5% = 8.2% =
11/1
25 Patentar 3.8% + 1 = 4.8% =
20/1
25 Postponed 3.8% + 1 = 4.8% =
20/1
Those prices adding up to
108.75%
Personally (and it is only an opinion) I’d like to back Be Ready @ 9/2 please. I’ve taken 3/1.
Value Is EverythingApril 16, 2014 at 17:00 #475834Interesting stuff on here Ginger, thanks for that.
I will use the Craven Stakes as an example here as to how I work;
100%
4/7 Toormore
11/2 Be Ready
14 Anjaal
14 The Grey Gatsby
25 Patentar
25 Postponed. That is my tissue. There is no value there for me Ginger so I will leave the race alone. What I do is compile my tissue (as above) then I would bet if the following prices were on offer:
NO BET Toormore – I don’t bet at odds on and if he drifts to odds against that would be too concerning.
7 Be Ready
18 Anjaal
18 The Grey Gatsby
40 Patentar
40 Postponed. Can you see anything there that I’m doing wrong?
My 100% Book:
Toormore 50% Evens, Take 11/10+
Be Ready 32% 85/40, Take 5/2+
Postponed 5.5% 18/1, Take 25/1+
Anjaal 4.75% 20/1, Take 28/1+
The Grey Gatsby 4% 25/1, Take 33/1+
Patentar 3.75% 25/1 ,Take 40/1+Value Is Everything - AuthorPosts
