A little bit of foresight wouldn’t go amiss.
I am well aware of the dangers that horses and jockeys face (both on flat and NH), but you have to be able to recognise when there is a level of risk which goes above the level of acceptability – in my mind, AOB went beyond this point.
November 3, 2007 at 00:04 #122761Here’s a quote from Fallon after the Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh on Henrythenavigator after he had just been beaten at odds on, on soft ground.
"It was always going to be a struggle for him on that ground," said Fallon. "I knew he was going to be in trouble when we were going down to the start.
Next race in the Futurity Stakes they ran him on soft again.

November 3, 2007 at 15:14 #122823It’s so so sad. What a horrible end to a beautiful horse.
RIP gorgeous gorgeous George x

August 2, 2008 at 01:36 #8552I’m searching for framed photographs of George Washington, the Champion 2YO of 2005 and 2,000 Guineas winner.
eBay are rubbish, and sadly that’s about as far as I know where to look.
Ideas?
August 3, 2008 at 11:33 #175912I have some photos I would be happy to send, you can see if you want to print and frame any yourself. If you want them tell me your email address.
August 4, 2008 at 09:43 #176001What size? Mounted? Trust me … if they are of the quality I will pay a decent amount.
Send the deets at mylesdeering@gmail.com.
August 4, 2008 at 23:59 #176122You could order from the Racing Post site, albeit you would need to mount and frame the photograph yourself.

August 5, 2008 at 00:02 #176123Actually, you can get them framed by the Post can’t you!
£24.99 for the photo (24×20) or £79.99 for the framed print. Actually seems pricey to me. Perhaps just the t-shirt at £14.99
August 5, 2008 at 09:31 #176139I don’t mind framing and mounting myself Alderbrook. But I forgot about RP!
24 x 20 … if that is just the photo, that is not bad!
August 6, 2008 at 21:48 #176323This is another good site with lots of photos available to buy:
