Two volatile looking PL games today, scoring-wise at least. An interest bet as a digestif for consideration even if value isn’t great
Everton v Villa Over 1.5 Away goals
Man U. V Spurs. Over 1.5 Home goals
5/2 Double Chance
Toffees not playing with much shape or method in recent matches. A big ask today. Maybe the Gwladys St End will will the ball into the net!
Nod to Man U in second match as they’re probably more consistent over 90 mins
January 16, 2024 at 14:02 #1677543It’s been almost 50 years since Billy Bonds led his band of all English (last time) Irons up the 39 steps for the third Iron FA Cup win in some 16 years. Tonight the East Londoners have an opportunity to take another small step along the way
to emulate these old glories in the current season. No PL manager would enjoy a day out in Wembley better than David Moyes and surely he will want his somewhat depleted Hammers to dismantle the Robins in 90 minutes tonight at the spaciously well appointed Ashton Gate where they should feel at home.Judging by their performance at Burnley Luton look like they’re more than capable of vacating the the third relegation berth, something not lost on other teams at the bottom like Brentford who must be wondering if the letter B is engraved thereon. The Bees greet the Trees on Saturday evening for what later in the season might potentially be regarded as a relegation dog fight. So this date must surely overshadow tonight’s cup tie at Wolves who can on best form overcome one of the meaner away teams goals-wise in the league perhaps in ET or on penalties.
Wolves to qualify V Brentford
West Ham to Win v Robins
6/4 Double Chance (1.5pt)
January 19, 2024 at 19:17 #1677859Over the FA Cup nostalgia now!
First crack at this weekend’s Championship fixture. It’s an unpredictable all feline contest! Black Cats seem to blow hot and cold at home and you don’t know what you’re going to get with the Tigers. Cats seemed to play well enough in defeat last week v Ipswich so I’ll give them a qualified vote of confidence tonight. Finally went for Pilgrims and Bluebirds to serve up some goals to make up my first weekend Double Chance.
Sunderland v Hull Over 1.5 Home Goals
Plymouth v Cardiff. Over 2.5 Goals
9/4 Double Chance
January 20, 2024 at 11:03 #1677920Derby to win away at Lincoln and South Korea to beat Jordan
£10 pays £22.76
January 20, 2024 at 11:14 #1677922With Arsenal having only 2 clean sheets in their last 10 games, and Palace only having failed to score in 3 of their last 10 BTTS @2.4 seems like a very good price, and Edouard anytime scorer at 6.4 I will have some if that too.
January 20, 2024 at 14:51 #1677954Pitiful display by those Blackcats last night proving there isn’t enough talent in the Championship for 24 teams. Nothing worse than watching poor footballers trying to play good football.
Asking the Sky Blues to dazzle the Owls and join my Plymouth/Cardiff Overs bet for a 11/4 Double Chance.
Gave them the nod over Brom to win at Carrow Rd which might be a bit more physically attritional but are still value at over 6/4
(Brom / Coventry double is 9/2)
January 21, 2024 at 08:49 #1678046West Ham look set to keep Sheffield Utd at the foot of the table and stuck on 9 points.
West Ham to win to nill
Correct score
0-1
0-2
0-3January 21, 2024 at 15:03 #1678122Fun bet builder for the Bournemouth v Liverpool game
Liverpool to win
Solanke anytime goal scorer
Nunez anytime goal scorer
Solanke 2+ shots on target
Diaz 1+ shots on target
Under 5 match goals95/1
January 22, 2024 at 19:30 #1678213Touché! Called Bladeblaster for a reason! BTTS Tipped already
BTTS @ 3/5 may be worth considering as a ‘booster’ in the Brighton v Wolves tie. Wolves have scored once at least in every Away PM game since first game in August v Man U except v Hammers before Xmas where they ‘scored’ an offside goal. Brighton have scored at least 1 goal at all Home PL games this season. Doesn’t look like a 0-0 to me!
Leicester play like they’re as happy winning 1-0 as 3-1 and as if they’re simply auditioning for the PL. 4/5 isn’t a great price so I’m taking a chance on an Under 3.5 v the Tractor Boys.
That’s a modest 6/5 Toss of a Coin Double Chance which should in my book be 5/6
Same bet with 2.5 Unders works out at best around 9/4 which might appeal to more
GL with any bets tonight!
January 23, 2024 at 08:54 #1678253Northampton have only lost 1 of their last 6 while Charlton have lost 5 of their last 6.
4.2 for Northampton to come away with all 3 points looks good value while covering the draw with correct scores of 1-1 @ 8.2 and 2-2 @ 16
January 24, 2024 at 18:32 #1678364Leeds v Norwich not really a betting proposition. Peacocks too short and odds insulting to Canaries who’ve had some decent results of late. Draw wouldn’t be disaster for Leeds as they’ve a run of easy games up to return tie with Foxes in a months time which they might well win as well. Canaries won’t want a bloody nose with two big Cup and League games up next. Just an odds on interest nibble on Leeds and under 4.5 goals for me.
January 24, 2024 at 19:56 #1678378The budgies can pull off a shock win to help their close relatives down the toad in Suffolk.
I won’t be betting on this one but no suprise if they pull off a shock or draw here.January 26, 2024 at 19:38 #1678598Tonight’s FA Cup quick-pick!
Owls v Sky Blues BTTS
Spurs v Citeh Under 1.5 @ Half Time
15/8 Double Chance
( Under 3.5 Regular Time actually pays a fraction more)
One of my BTTS bets has to win sometime!
Let’s see how long it takes Spurs and City strikers to blow this one out of the water!January 27, 2024 at 14:48 #1678753Very limited 3pm selection so just a 6/4 + Double Chance suggestion
Everton v Luton Under 3.5
Leicester Win v Birmingham
Didn’t get the impression the Gaffer Dyche is giving the Cup much priority. Can go either way but maybe more likely goals may be at a premium.
Leicester need to put in a shift v Brum after losing league points recently. Opposition not as average as league position suggests. Cup ambitions being torpedoed wouldn’t be good for morale while sailing back to the PL
January 28, 2024 at 11:40 #1678978Wolves & Draw Double Result
Huddersfield & Draw Double Result
That’s a 11/8 Double Chance (Lay bet)
Wolves should be a bridge too far for Brom to pass. If Terriers show same tenacity as at the Lions Den Hoops may find a win elusive – worth in-play watch
January 29, 2024 at 22:58 #1679092Fulham
Luton
VillaWin treble at a very nice price. It’s a push but not out of the question.
January 30, 2024 at 07:25 #1679099Watkins and Gordon to score or assist
Chris Wood to have a shot on target.
