From what I have heard and read there is every chance that we could see apples jade, presenting percy and even benie des dieux here

He’s always looked as if he didn’t get the chance to show he good he was, and I still wonder just how he would have got on in The Gold Cup, but for his early fall.
He’d be more of a sentimental choice, but he goes well fresh, and though he’s probably not the horse he was, I’ll side with him if he’s a price.
Seems the right choice for me FF.
I’m hoping Bachasson will be a price, cause I will bet him, despite the strong opposition.

This is definitely not a betting race for me, but as interesting as the big pair are, I’m very interested in seeing how Death Duty fairs.
Fair play to Gordon elliot for being honest about apples jade and saying before the race she wasn’t anywhere near her best
Just watched the replay. It’s hard to see in the fog but Apples was changing legs all over the shop from the start and swishing her tail at times. I wonder if last year’s ground did something to her
Benie De Deaux currently rated 157, not sure how much she will get put up for that with Apples Jade flopping but surely a few pounds?
Quevega rated 167, and Annie Power 166. I’d personally have backed AP against Q all day over any distance.
Mullins thinks BDD better than either – will be a shame to see her sauntering home in the bloody Mares bearing that in mind.

Did you watch the race Kev? You are factually correct, but you’d be stone nuts to think she could not have won by double the distance should PT have thrown the kitchen sink.
