A incredibly purchase by Coolmore just smashing up the price. A May foal so their maybe be a few trends guys that dislike her but it be interesting to see how she goes.<!– ia0 –>2010Lot59f.jpg<!– ia0 –>[/attachment:2vqwgs44]

Galileo (IRE) (11.1f) — Gwynn (IRE) (Darshaan (11.7)
Comment: Again another Big purchase for Coolmore who own the half brother Pour Moi who could potentially run in the Epsom Derby in a few weeks. Aidan trained the dam Gwynn as well i believe. Bred by Paul Shananhan under Lynch Badges who is part of the Coolmore grouping who bred Famous and Mastercraftsman and Pour Moi. This was obviously a nice way to give a few bob to Paul as they already own the mare and prob a easy way to increase Galileo’s stud sales prices.

phpvl3erpAM.jpg[/attachment:34qbdomd]June 1, 2011 at 16:14 #358229Almagest runs for K Abdullah and was one of the draft between Coolmore and Juddmonte hence the Galileo in the pedigree
June 1, 2011 at 21:24 #358280That horse run at Sandown 2moro and could have a real future
June 5, 2011 at 14:55 #359075Whatever Coolmore did before this year the strike rate in the classics(Ireland, England and France)is awesome.John Magnier must be a very proud man. They were all there for the Epsom meeting to savor the glory of first and second in the Oaks and first and second in the Derby. What power Coolmore in the racing world.Although I believe it would be better if they did not own so many of their winners.Share the success with those who buy or breed from their great stallions.Montjeu must be the best in the world, national hunt and the flat. Champion Hurdle and Derby the same year!Gallilo has become a sire of milers, how about that. And they said he got horses that were too slow!
June 5, 2011 at 17:20 #359097Yes they own for me too many horse’s but then again so do Godolphin and the Aga Khan as do Juddmonte. Its just their rate of success is unbelievable. 3 Derby’s in 6 years for Montjeu’s
June 5, 2011 at 18:15 #359110I find it fascinating that his fillies are so modest to say the least. What percent win even one race? So your stud fee is a bit of a gamble.
June 5, 2011 at 18:26 #359114But they are very valuable even if not very good
June 12, 2011 at 13:43 #360278Galileo 1-2 in the French Oaks over 1m2f.
That is the
French 1000 Guineas
French Oaks
Irish 2000 Guineas
Irish 1000 Guineas
English 2000 GuineasThat is 5-9 of all classic’s this year.
Coolmore also have won the oaks with Danehill Dancer and the Derby With Montjeu
IncredibleJune 12, 2011 at 14:31 #360298The four that got away, The English One Thousand Guineas, The English Oaks, The French Two Thousand Guineas and the French Derby.Won all the rest. How about the Galileos that were second in the classics this year also.Second in the Two Thousand Guineas. Second in the One Tousand Guineas. Second in the Irish One Thousand Guineas and finally second in the Prix de Diane.
