You’re an expert in "naivety" Woolf.
It’s obvious you don’t understand odds.Perhaps not Gingerhedger, but unlike you, I understand ability when I see it, sadly it’s not always on view except when 3 25/1 shots thoroughly stuff horses that you lavished high stakes on the other day in the Ladbroke. You didn’t see that coming exactly like the rest of us.
Stick to your scattergun, you’ll never be a marksman.

I backed the winner of the Ladbroke Woolf.

Sadly you’re the one who seems to have no ability to make a profit out of racing which is why you feel compelled to knock a man who does. You seem to be jealous of Ginge and the fact he makes a profit. I’m really struggling to see why you come on this forum when you so clearly hate the sport. You are like another certain member on here who can’t make it pay so have to blame everyone and everything else for your own deficiencies.
December 26, 2012 at 22:18 #424275Have you seen the profits churned by Ginge on his thread Woolf? It may not be by backing one horse per race, and as he’s stated on several occasions his methods may not be seen as ‘conventional’, but it certainly doesn’t deserve its’ knockers.

How do you know that I’ve not made it pay? I’ve withdrawn
profit from one of my accounts this very day.December 26, 2012 at 22:24 #424277How do you know that I’ve not made it pay? I’ve withdrawn

You nailed it at the seventh attempt after 6 losers. Great form reading, you narrowed it down to seven runners.

Just one other account and that’s in profit too.

I think they are totally conventional. There is no difference in backing one horse in a race or half-a-dozen. It’s exactly the same procedure.

To follow on from that, why knock others that make a profit? Smacks of bitterness to me.

I noted his main bets over Friday and Saturday, he was down 62 points on his strongest selections. I hope he was backing 10p a point.

Which clearly shows you don’t understand betting or the words ‘long term’.
I’ve an idea. If you are a profitable punter (and we know you’re not) do what Ginger does. Post your selections in advance for all to see. Let’s then see how good you are.
No, I didn’t think you would have the balls to do that.

The fact you’ve stalked someones’ thread over a weekend to try and prove yourself right kind of proves everyones’ point that you appear to be slightly bitter over another man’s financial success. I’m not here to fight anyone elses battles but I suggest you spend more time picking your own horses and less time attacking others for how they make their money.
December 26, 2012 at 22:49 #424288Essentially, Gingerhedger and his acolytes are anoraks with ideas about mathematics that have no foundation in reality.
In my experience the world’s leading horseplayers are not moonlighting from their academic careers as math lecturers. My advice to them is buy a racehorse, rub shoulders with the cognoscenti, find out where their money is going and follow suit.

It’s an open forum, I wanted to see his selections. He invites followers, I wrote them down, all of them and watched the race.
It was very disappointing when only one of four savers carrying 40p won with heavily backed runners stuffed. - AuthorPosts
