    Last year’s Ebor hero has suffered a fatal injury on the gallops while preparing for Saturday’s Long Distance Cup.

    Very sad to hear. The Ebor was always a terrible race for me. I had never backed the winner until Fujaira Prince won last year, so I remember him fondly!

    The saddest of days.
    tTerrible news rom the gallops, horses are so fragile..words fail me he was so beautiful and such a talent.

    Condolences to all at the Varian yard and his owner.
    All thoughts to the big grey horse.
    I will always hold fond memories of Fujaira Prince.
