Time for some translation fun for Friday!

After reading this I was shocked that this one even made it back to the track!

Makani is on course for the Colts Pool
Pleasant Prize Gaius Tuesday in St. Cloud, Makani (AP Indy) should now be directed to the Hen Testing Colts (Sunday, May 16). In any case what was said Alan Cooper, manager of staffing Niarchos. Bago’s brother who recovered well from his stroke, he could make a step with the price of Fontainebleau (Gr3), played Sunday, April 25. In any case, this perspective should lead Alain de Royer Dupre to go in search of a jockey to ride Siyouni. – Mosse?
What of ‘Eightfold’?
"He will not run again this year and will be campaigned in all the top mile events next season."
Straight to the Hen Test?…
April 16, 2010 at 20:36 #290688who recovered well from his stroke
Oh, wonderful. Calling all horse cardiologists…April 16, 2010 at 20:38 #290689I think I’ve just seen the Poulains winner…
what a moverUgly, ja, Deluxe has me nervous (I was all over Rosanara until this).
April 16, 2010 at 21:36 #290703..I think it’s more open this year, no real outstanding performer as yet for the Pouliches, several in with a chance I think.
As for the Hen tests – I think I’m going cross eyed
April 17, 2010 at 12:05 #290798Glad you liked that one Ole!

UM not to worry no more write ups to read today – you can give those eyes a rest!
Oh there is this!
http://www.darley.co.uk/page/53984/darl … -longchampApril 17, 2010 at 22:52 #290899I shall go with Foreteller in the Suresnes. He has form, like so many others, with my old friend Kokochu – as opposed to Amagansett who would be more at home around Bordeaux le Bouscat it seems

After two days I’ve just worked out what Side Nagy is
April 19, 2010 at 14:25 #291175Nice pick –

He done it quite well – SP said after that he’d be better on decent going…that form with the old plodder weren’t so bad!

How things can change…poor old JC really weren’t lying when he said this was he?!
Last December, Jean-Claude Rouget confided that he didn’t have a very good bunch of 2 year olds, with the exception of Joanna (Ire-High Chaparral), who he had just received.
April 19, 2010 at 18:06 #291197thank you
I was pleased with the result as the 3rd Rysckly, beaten 6 lengths today also had form with my old mate Kokochu the claimer, which works out about right from their 2yo days.Simon de Montfort of course, also has form with K…. I wish he hadn’t
April 19, 2010 at 18:13 #291202Old K has run so much – he’s probably got form with them all!
April 19, 2010 at 18:23 #291205After two days I’ve just worked out what Side Nagy is
I haven’t. Please share.
April 19, 2010 at 18:26 #291206Prix Penelope on Thursday. Indications for the Alary & Diane.
April 19, 2010 at 18:35 #291212Any thoughts on it Ole?…I’m waiting for the on fire selector to mark my card…

‘Nagy’ is never good – no matter what direction it comes from – I get far too much for my liking!
April 19, 2010 at 19:02 #291222I think Sound of Summer (based on what she’s done this season) and Sinndarina (from last season).
April 19, 2010 at 21:04 #291240Any thoughts on it Ole?…I’m waiting for the on fire selector to mark my card…

‘Nagy’ is never good – no matter what direction it comes from – I get far too much for my liking!

..I’m working on it, give me some time

edit:
Middle Club for the Prix Penelope….R Hannonfor Tuesdays de la Flandrie – Baahama
and the Pre Catalan – I think Karatoya
both for Mons. Fabre
April 20, 2010 at 10:07 #291304Hasn’t the Hen Test been a good pointer for the Diane Price of late?
Good luck with those…

Here’s one that got lost…
Passion for Gold will not hurt his back
20/04/2010 – 10:15 | In the Dante Stakes
Winner of the Criterium de Saint-Cloud in 2009, Passion for Gold was to make his return next May 13 in the Dante Stakes Gourpe II, pre-Derby Epsom. But due to a back problem, the horse can run. Nothing too serious, however, said Godolphin.
April 20, 2010 at 10:16 #291305Suresnes Foreteller flies to groups
Monday, 19, Maisons-Laffitte. On a very good track, the colt Foreteller associated with the jockey Stephane Pasquier home, won the Prix de Suresnes jokingly (L-3M-1800m), a listed race run on curiously 1,800 meters of the straight line leads to what? Mystery … In fact, when she was playing in Chantilly, rope right on the racetrack of the Jockey Club, the race took its meaning, and moreover, the champion Vision State had won two years ago, before knowing the sacred in the French Derby. For its part, the winner, Foreteller, did not ask such questions, and after a long gallop near the moderator and Signe Persist, accelerate gradually and it takes the measure of the resident of Nicolas Clement, who demerit not far from it. Especially since the son of With Approval is the only challenge the supremacy of the winner to a hundred yards from goal. Five lengths further, the gray Rysckly (Slickly), is third at Amagansett (Fusaichi Pegasus), who lost time by throwing himself suddenly against the lists. To say that this incident cost him the race, there is a step that we will not cross. His jockey Christophe Soumillon commented: "He tried to escape, but why? Has he been afraid of something? Until then, I was well, but could not say anything about the outcome of the race. "As for Spanish, Saruman (Arch), he had lost several lengths at the exit of the stalls.
> About the Price of Quiche.
Son of Dansili and Prophecy, is a foal Foreteller thick and very compact, rather frame miler, although obviously it must take the 2,000 meters. His trainer David Smaga said: "It confirms its two wins in 2009, and even better. I worked more seriously after seeing that the tracks are good. With field hardened, he gave his full measure. I wavered between the rates listed Fontainebleau and this, and I think I made the right choice. We climbed a step further, showing that Foreteller is a good colt. I will now move towards the Prix de Guiche (Group III). "Five out three victories, obtained successively in a D, B, and listed-race. The ascent is constant, and if Foreteller not win a class in the style of a gifted, he never stops passing the pole winner, and no doubt he has the size semi-classical. Otherwise, time will give us the answer …April 20, 2010 at 17:15 #291350^^^ it’s getting worse
… that’s just hilarious to me… ”straight line leads to what”..”price of Quiche”..
sounds like he won it well, that’s the point I think.
….no good today
… ruddy French
Mubtassim one to note… is he on your list of those to follow Zenjah, I think you mentioned him at some point? After two days I’ve just worked out what Side Nagy is
I haven’t. Please share.
..sorry OB I think I got it wrong so wouldn’t want to embarrass myself further by disclosing what I thought it meant
