Dug up some old news!

Exemplify
The sister of Special Duty won his first race!
Much Ado surrounded the first release of Exemplify, sister of the champion Special Duty. She finally emerged victorious from his first race, the Prix des Marettes, Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Deauville. The daughter of Dansili is engaged in the Cheveley Park Stakes, 1 October 2010 in Newmarket.C. Head-Maarek
– "helleborine has a fantastic acceleration"
Criquette Head was lavish in his praise of helleborine after the victory of his filly from the Deauville Listed: "It does not make much business but it is remarkable. It has a fantastic acceleration. I do not know yet if I will make it run as the Prix du Calvados is a race very hard. In any case, it can be extended without any problem. "
I don’t have anymore for now!

Any news where her next race will be
August 24, 2010 at 10:33 #314474No new news today Darren!

I was mainly concentrating on your Guinness fancy ‘Helle’ so I missed that ‘Exemplify’ is entered up over 7f @ Longchamps on 5/9/10 – a mixed up affair i.e. against colts!
Here’s some other news reports to keep you bubblin’!

Helleborine
makes history!
Helleborine (Observatory) became the first ever winner of the €55,000 Prix Six Perfections (L-2yo-1,400m), a race that was run for the first time this year. Last of the field turning into the straight, she took time to get into her stride but was impressive once balanced. She passed the whole field at such speed that it seemed as if her rivals were going backwards. Winning trainer Criquette Head-Maarek remarked; “She has an amazing turn of foot. She is remarkable and I like her a lot. From her performance today I think she could run over a longer trip. She is still very green.” The Prix Six Perfections has been envisaged as a prep race for the Prix du Calvados – Haras des Capucines (Gr3), but it is not certain that Helleborine will take part in this race; the winning trainer explained “It is not a race that I like for fillies so I’m not sure if Helleborine will run in it. I also might have other horses more suitable for that race.” Two and a half lengths behind in second place was the Godolphin visitor
Helleborine is a full sister to African Rose, winner of the Sprint Cup (Gr1) in 2008. They are both daughters of New Orchid (Quest for Fame), who ran over distances of 2,000m and further.Exemplify
– To follow in Special Duty’s footsteps
Tuesday 10th August 2010, Deauville. The result of the €24,000 Prix des Marettes (Unraced 2yo Fillies-1,600m) had almost been decided before the race was even run. Prince Khalid Abdullah’s Exemplify (Dansili), the half sister of the champion Special Duty (Hennessy), was all the rage ahead of the race and she won in easier fashion than the winning distance indicated Criquette Head-Maarek, her trainer, said afterwards; “The filly picked up the bit early on so Stéphane Pasquier let her go on. On the far side I wasn’t laughing too much! I thought we were going to pay the price in the finish.” But Exemplify still had something left in the tank and despite the softened ground by the rain, she strode out well to fight off all attacks on her way to the winning post. Exemplify could now take her chance in the Cheveley Park Stakes, in which she is already entered along with two of her trainer’s other charges. On that point, her trainer remarked “She is a filly with a lot of speed. She will go back to Chantilly and won’t run again in Deauville”. The Cheveley Park Stakes is of course a race that she knows well, having won it a record breaking four times. Freddy Head’s charge Nosail (Anabaa Blue) took second place three quarters of a length behind Exemplify with Galaxie Sud (El Prado) a further short neck behind in third place.
Exemplify is out of Quest to Peak (Distant View), who was trained by Bobby Frankel. Quest to Peak is a full sister to multiple Gr1 winner Sightseek. As mentioned above, Exemplify is of course a half sister to Special Duty (Hennessy), winner of the Cheveley Park Stakes, 1000 Guineas and the Poule d’Essai (Grs1).Other snippets

Located in the back row by Christophe Soumillon, the son of Mr. Bond has literally pulverized the opposition to finish, winning in a real canter. Direction the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere.
Admiring, Jean-Claude Rouget responded: "Even his last outing I had really enjoyed it. It is a false early and had not yet fully understood at first. We must lead like today. This race is going to to feel confident and it will be one of the pillars of the team for next year. Before that, he will participate in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere, in a month. "
Prix Moulin
– Star its Fuissé!
The price of the Moulin de Longchamp, Group I played on the mile, was the highlight of the afternoon on the racetrack in the Bois de Boulogne. After ejecting Stephane Pasquier twice Fuissé went to gallop a few minutes before the start of the race. Fuisse has been desired by delaying the start of the trial of fifteen minutes, but the final result showed that it was worth the wait. The protégé of Head-Maarek Chistiane has made extraordinary strides in the finals to clinch the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp. Chapeau!
Fuisse retains his unbeaten at Longchamp!
Fourth prize was won by Jacques Le Marois Makfi August 15 last Fuissé found the way to success. Before his trip to Deauville in the summer, the protégé of Christiane Head-Maarek was a series of three consecutive wins including two acquired in Group III. This Sunday, Fuissé found a track on which he had never experienced failure. In principle, we are going to race in England’s Champion Stakes on October 16. The appointment is made!

September 8, 2010 at 12:05 #316442Why is Helliborine racing at a 1m as a 2yo she should be racing at 6f and 7f then at 3 step up to a mile.

And are there any top 2yo colts in france who be middle distance horses next year
September 8, 2010 at 13:02 #316453You don’t ask for much!

– Wins for Christiane Head-Maarek!
Unbeaten in two outings, helleborine confirmed its full potential by winning on a glittering prize of Aumale, Group III for fillies two years, September 9, 2010 at Longchamp. She has won his first Group … And the Prix Marcel Boussac seems not far …Update…
Christiane Head-Maarek, "helleborine will go to the Prix Marcel Boussac"
Stephane Pasquier, his jockey, said the microphone Equidia just after the race: "It is easy to mount a filly. She showed a flash of class in beginner, and it confirms today that it is a very good filly.
The coach of helleborine, Criquette Head-Maarek, she has also expressed Equidia after the race, explaining that her foal should go to the Fillies Criterium, or the Prix Marcel Boussac. There is no doubt that providing the filly in the Prix d’Aumale propels the favorite among this prestigious group I, although it will take on competitors like Mambia or Pontenuovo. Note that the last time Christiane Head-Maarek won the Prix Marcel Boussac was in 2008 with Proportional, is also wearing the colors and Stephane Pasquier Abdullah in the saddle. That looks very bright.

A victory achieved with almost five lengths ahead without his jockey Davy Bonilla had to ask. Moonlight Cloud is engaged in the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere. The appointment is made!

His next race will be a Group I, the Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere. I’ve never had two years like that, it’s the best coach. "On behalf of the coach of a champion as Goldikova, these words are like gold …

: Will Sarafina follow in the footsteps of Zarkava?
Group I, September 12, 2010 at Longchamp
Traditionally, in mid-September, are held in preparation for the Arc de Triomphe. The opportunity for all champions to meet, assess their form, to gauge their ability to take the 2,400 meters from the legendary track at Longchamp. A rendezvous lovers gallop can not miss. Sunday, September 12, many pretenders to the crown of the arch will be on the racetrack. The climax of this exceptional meeting, the Prix Vermeille, Group I for ladies and girls. The opportunity for competing Hen Testing Fillies, the Diane English and Irish Oaks in the Yorkshire Oaks or compete one last time "for girls" before returning males on the fateful day …
Prices for Vermilion wonders …
Created in 1897, the Prix Vermeille was named in tribute to the mare Vermilion, originally named Wonder. And if that Vermillion made no miracles in racing, she gave birth to wonders few have excelled at the highest level in events like the Grand Prix de Paris, the Jockey Club or the Diane. Racing wonderful it is …
Originally, only three were girls allowed to run the price Vermilion. In 2004, the mares 4 years have finally been able to participate, and it will take until 2006 for five years and over are allowed to turn. With a benefit for three years, which cover only 54.5 pounds, where the mares must support 58.5 kg. A weight can make a difference: only 4 years old mare won the Prix Vermeille. This is Sweet Streams, 2004. Note however that the excellent Dar Re Mi had passed the pole head in the 2009 at the age of 4 years, before being demoted.
But few lined Price Vermilion – Arc de Triomphe! Only five fillies have managed the feat (the same year): Pearl Cap (1931), Nikellora (1945), San San (1972), Three Troikas (1979), Zarkava (2008). Allez France and All Along also managed a double, but in different years.Zarkava, wonder of Vermilion
Zarkava will probably exceptional filly Prize Vermilion. For several reasons: firstly, to have passed the doubled Arc / Vermillion. Then, after winning in 2008, the Triple Crown (Hen Testing Fillies, Prix de Diane, Prix Vermeille). And finally, for the "record holder" of the event (with Pearly Shells), she flew in 2:26.00 after having paid the luxury of losing many lengths on its rivals by forgetting to rush to open stalls. That deserved a little tribute! …

The 2010
The 2010 looks very beautiful, with the winner of the Prix de Diane, Sarafina, to carry the flame of three years. We regret the absence in this age group, Snow Fairy, double winner of the English and Irish Oaks, which will initially Sept. 11, the St Leger. In mares age, there are beautiful people, including both English and Midday Sariska.
Sarafina, the hope of youth
She is the great attraction of this event. Sarafina, the star Aga Khan, tries to walk in the footsteps of Zarkava, unbeaten at the start presenting this award Vermilion 2010. Rare on the racetrack (it has only raced three times), Sarafina nonetheless dazzled at each of its outputs. She needed easily on his debut. A victory that led him to be, from its second output to a Group I, the Prix Saint-Alary. No problem for the resident of Alain de Royer-Dupre, who needed easily, before the Abdullah Deluxe (which many saw as the overwhelming favorite of Diana) and Dariole, it will recover in Vermillion. But the consecration took place in June 2010, the Prix de Diane. And it stunned the spectators see a green flash and red pass the winning post in front. A clear victory, promising. Sarafina makes its comeback in this price Vermillion, as did Zarkava. The only question concerns the ability of the filly has taken the 2,400 meters. If she succeeds, she will walk in the footsteps of his elder …
The chances seem slim for most other 3 years. Lady’s Purse will be hard to deal with such opposition. Winner of Royaumont (Group III), she finds herself facing a lot well above what it has already faced. It is the same for Never Forget, daughter of the great Westerner, whose best performance was a victory in Group II in June, the Prix de Malleret. Dariole does not lack quality, but has already been largely defeated by Sarafina. As for Sarah Lynx, its best performance was a modest fourth place in the Prix Minerve (Group III). The question mark of the race remains Enora, the winner of the Prix de Diane German. His first steps in France will followMidday and Sariska … Again!
Oh small English … Two young ladies of quality will lead the opposition in mares 4 years. And find the opportunity to replay the match aborted the Yorkshire Oaks! Midday and Sariska are the two best English enemy of the turf. Until August 19, 2010, Sariska was always ahead of its competitor. Both mares were found in the Yorkshire Oaks race where Sariska refused to rush, remains blocked in his stall. An attitude that worries: Sariska is she still running? Response rates in Vermillion. Midday, meanwhile, is in an Olympic shape: it has impressed in the Yorkshire Okas, winning a whole class at the phenomenon Snow Fairy, and beat the excellent Stacelita Nassau Stakes in 2010.

Plumania in Spoilsport
Distrust with Wertheimer Plumania! Trained by Andre Fabre, she is in full progress. Plumania notably created the surprise in the Grand Prix de Saint Cloud 2010, when she was beautifully imposed, including before the Poulidor the Arc Youmzain. Mistrust, it can be divisive. As for Rare Painting and High Heeled respectively first and second prize of Pomona 2010, the task will be more than difficult. Unless a big surprise.
Who, three years or four years, won the Prix Vermeille 2010 and win his ticket to the Arc de Triomphe? Answer Sunday, September 12, 2010 at Longchamp, a race that looks beautiful.
