Which football team (s) do you think are an attractive bet to win their respective league (s) this coming season?

I know they’re a bit on the skinny side, but the 7/4 on offer from Corals on Dunfermline winning Scottish Div 1 looks a bit of a steal to me. They should be odds on in my book.

Hills opened with 8/11 Celtic for the SPL, license to print money IMO. Now 4/6, so still a decent snip. I also think there’s good value in West Brom at 13/2 for the Championship.

I think St Johnstone are too much of a danger for 7/4 about Dunfermline to be great value, even having lost Simon Mensing. Although I’m absolutely convinced that the winner will come from one of those two.

Walsall. League One. 50-1. You know it makes sense.

I have no opinions yet, but I will have in about 2 weeks time.

Friggo, I would tread very carefully with the 13/2 about West Brom. If they were ever going to get promoted I would have expected it to have been last season when their star players give the club a chance to bounce straight back. But now they are still in the Championship they are losing a lot of important players, Kamara and Koumas just 2 off the top of my head.

Not saying they wont win the Championship, I am just saying that 13/2 with last seasons squad would have been about right, but 13/2 with this squad doesn’t sound too tasty in my opinion.

I think Celtic will be hard to dislodge but Rangers will no doubt put up a much sterner challenge than they did last season. The 4/6 on offer doesn’t tempt me – though I do sincerely hope the men in green & white hoops emerge triumphant – again! [/u]

    Sheffield Wednesday 23.0 on Betfair.
I’m always very positive about my beloved Owls at this point in the pre-season. Usually it doesn’t last too long beyond September. Although this coming season I really believe that we…………………..

7/4 Dunfermline looks a solid bet. I agree it’s between them and St Johnstone but Dunfermline an even money shot IMO.

Celtic should win title again but it’ll be closer this time. 4/6 makes no appeal as a betting proposition.
